ALASTOR WOULD NORMALLY CRAWL AWAY TO HIS RADIO TOWER, BUT after the recent events that had unfolded, he needed to be away from that group of misfits. Naturally, it landed him here at the Carmine’s. Alastor never imagined he would find peace in the comfort of his fellow overlord’s home. After all, Alastor planned to make her one of the very screams on his broadcast until he saw… them. That made something churn, twist, and pull in the pit of his stomach.
HE SAT ALONE BY A WINDOW WITH IT CRACKED JUST a fraction. His body leaned against the glass, careful as to not disturb the wounds that had been bandaged on his arm. Vox’s stupid pet got a good tear in. Alastor cursed under his breath. He could still feel the sharp pain of the bite, could still feel the rip as that angel pulled him from its jaws. She had saved him, and now he had a debt over his head. Alastor sighed, a trail of smoke left his lips that had been directed to disappear through the cracked window.
EARS FLICKED, ONE SWIVELED IN THE DIRECTION OF THE SUDDEN footsteps that stopped at the door frame. You’re letting your guard down more often. Did he really need it when he visited the Carmine’s? Why did he question it? For a man who was always sure of himself, that hesitation terrified him.
"my keen sense of perception is giving me the impression that you are upset"
THE WORDS THAT LEFT ODETTE MADE THE OVERLORD CHUCKLE. HIS crimson gaze left the window to find hers. His head tilted, his smile became genuine, “ Oh, my dear girl, ” she caught you feeling something. That didn’t sit well with him. It was another thing for it to be her mother, “ Your keen sense of perception? ” Alastor put out his smoke, and gave @carminelegacy his full attention, “ Then, pray tell, what you think I could be upset about? ” He was partly curious, but also wanted to help hone her craft if there was some truth to it.
