“I want to give a shout-out to my favorite Aerith roleplayers. carnationfloral, askaeristheflower, and churchflower are all perfect! They do their very best in each of their threads. They make it like Aerith herself is behind theses blogs.”
[is it too late?] peach, vanilla, and orange
Peach → I really like your theme. I’m not big on themes set out like yours, but sometimes I’m tempted to make it my theme on my personal, because it’s so beautiful set out. Your posts only compliment it more, and I enjoy seeing every one of them.Vanilla → You’re incredibly sweet and patient, not just with replies, but in general. I don’t think you have a mean bone in your body. You’re always a sweet heart, regardless and you never rushed me for a reply, or any other of your partners because you have compassion and understanding. You are just an all round, genuine person. Orange → This one sort of goes into vanilla, to be honest. You’re just a kind, gentle friend, and I’m so glad I’ve had the honor of being able to interact with you and your muse and you’ll forever be one of my most dearest Aerith’s, both to myself and my muse.
kissed
He rages for days after killing her.
There is no consolation for this; his false-mother’s voice ringing in his ears does nothing but amplify his fury, it does nothing. Once, she was so calming, in her mimicry of Ifalna whom he had known in the labs before he lost all of those precious memories to the trauma of the Wutai War. Ifalna, his real mother, adoptive though she was, and Aerith, his sister, so small, so bright.
It was only the very moment the Masamune pierced her flesh that it came back to him within a flood and the voices of the Cetra, the matriarchs whose spirits still sang in the dead halls of the Forgotten City, washed in upon him like a wave and he lost control.
No, not him. Sephiroth was not the one who killed her, it was Jenova, it was the fault of the witch, the fault of the cancer that had inflicted itself upon this world, upon his already so fragile mind. First his family, and then his friends, and now she tears away what is left of him entirely, and he haunts the City of the Ancients like a wounded beast, dying, weeping, furious at his own demise and hers.
He has shattered one of the columns; in fits he throws the rubble at the lake where Cloud laid her body to rest, as if his restless anger would bring her back.
It takes a week and more for him to become tired of the constant wrangling with the command of Jenova in his head, to become exhausted at destroying a place which houses those he believes himself to have loved. Cetra, Cetra, wasn’t he one of them? Aerith had green eyes, so green, and skin rich as milk, all wrapped in rose she seemed to bring the springtime wherever her feet fell upon forsaken Gaia.
He wishes he remembered more of her. He remembers her screaming in the Shin-Ra labs, beating her little fists on the doors as Hojo notmyfathernotmyfather conducted experiments on their mother.
Sephiroth collapses at the lakeside. He remembers her head bowed in supplication, in prayer. He should have been a more righteous man.
The air is cool, but it is not the refreshing cool of subterranean dwellings and earth; it is the dim cold of a tomb. The thing that pretends to be his mother is silent. The echoes of the Cetra are fading more and more every day (through his fault, through his fault, through his most grievous fault. He strikes his breast, but the admission of sin is not equal to its absolution.)
The surface of the water is still. He mourns her there, his own mind lost to him, his thoughts endless, his thoughts nebulous and nothing.
The White Materia glimmers at the bottom of the lake, and helpless, he finds himself appealing to it desperately, words spilling from his mouth haphazard and mostly without form but concrete in their meaning. Bring her back, just once. Bring her back. I just want to see her one more time.
His wish is not granted. It is not granted and so he rises, trembling, and wanders back into the ruins he has made of the city.
It is an hour or more, and he slumps against one of the few remaining columns, listless. There is desolation here, and it is of his own design, and for this he should also destroy himself, feels so keenly the urge to that he envisions himself instead at the end of the blade, almost begins to call out to Jenova and beg her to end it all.
Aerith’s hand rests on his shoulder.
He turns about so quickly it makes him nauseous, and there is she is; or rather, the image of her, translucent, edges all blurred, almost film grain to look at her, and Sephiroth’s eyes brim and spill over and he drops to his knees. Supplication. Prayer. Her fingers in dirtied silver strands, brushing them back from a forehead decorated by a knit, distressed brow, upturned in misery.
"It’s alright," she says, and her voice is joined by that chorus of the spirits of the Cetra all around, the women, the witches of the world, the hundreds who died for this, who died for Aerith’s death, who died for her sacred, lonely baptism. It’s alright. It’s alright; sacrifice is catalyst, all love is sacrifice.
His sister kisses his brow, and Sephiroth knows peace, and dreamless, restful sleep.Jenova seizes the lull of his mind, but he knows he has already been forgiven.

Gadis pada Hari Itu (Girl from That Day) || @carnationfloral
"...? Tempat apa ini...?"
Moon and Star
☾: Favorite moment from your Muse's canon, and why. (If your Muse is an OC, then favorite aspect of their story.)
Uggh I can't say that without a reference to my personal headcanon :/ but if I have to choose a moment from his life, hmm... The decision he and Kain made to mutiny agaist their homeland: he— they refused what they believed in for their whole existance. It is a great act of courage, in my opinion.
(Already done the star thingy.)
