What they smell like:  soap and dust and a little metallic

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):  probably curled up tight in a ball, taking up as little space as possible

What music they enjoy:  i feel like if he were alive today he’d be a little into dubstep, or maybe more traditional cabaret-inspired stuff (think rasputina, regina spektor?) maybe grunge

How much time they spend getting ready every morning: A Long Time, mostly involving washing, trimming and re-washing.  excellent personal grooming.  perfectly pressed shirts.

Their favorite thing to collect: i really like the idea of him getting novelty ties as gag gifts and just... acquiring them

Religion (if any): Weird Atheist

Favorite sport: Long and Vigorous Walks

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc): i can imagine him spending a lot of time in the libraries of new cities, or trying to sneak into their academic buildings.  or finding a very solitary corner of a restaurant and observing.

Favorite kind of weather: dark, a little cool, overcast

A weird/obscure fear they have:  besides Everything, generalized?  i like to imagine him reading lovecraft, andeven though the point goes over his head he develops a fear of the deep sea

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail: the little pixellated shooter games
