I know this is a bit late but I figure the least I could do is give my version of rememberance. @chesterbe was one of those few humans that could every element of what I would want to hear in a song together. It took me 14 years to go from being in a pit that @linkinpark would create to being in front of the barricade to capture this image. I can't say I've been too shook up with the past lives taken. I didn't connect with their music. This time... it hit home. Felt extremely personal. So the next few images will have this caption. Hybrid Theory came out my Freshman year of HS and was the first alt rock cd I bought. I had never heard someone sing about the darker feelings I felt and was instantly drawn to Chester's special voice and emotion. For 17 years, that voice has followed me, both encouraging me to keep on and letting me feel the pain. I didn't love every album but was always interested to see what they came up with next. It's absolutely heartbreaking that the man behind music that let me feel like I wasn't alone and let me know everything will be ok took his own life. Depression has been a part of my life for over 20 years and I know it isn't going anywhere but it hurts to see someone's battle end this way, especially when they helped so many. Chester, your lyrics, music, and iconic voice will live on and continue to inspire me and so many others.
