It was only a matter of time till they finally got together and much to the relief of their friends, Kyle Bailey and Caroline Wolfe had actually admitted their feelings for each other.  They had been "dating" since the beginning of summer and still had yet to even kiss.  Both of them, having been severely burned in their previous relationships, wanted to take things slowly.  But this was turtle speed.  Seriously, it was ridiculous.

The start of school was nearing, Kyle entering his senior year and Caroline entering junior year.  No doubt there wouldn't be quite as much time for them to be as couple-y as they had been in the past months during the academic year.  So right now they were being that sickening couple everyone hates because they're "so sweet" (okay yes, they always were that couple, but they didn't see it that way).

Tonight they were doing exactly what they always did.  Watching some random movie and eating ice cream or whatever they felt like snacking on that particular day.  This time they were watching an old b horror movie Kyle had found, she couldn't remember its name.  By the time it was over, it had gotten pretty late and Caroline knew she should probably be going home.  "I should get going," she said, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek just like she always did.  And just then he turned and their lips met for the very first time.  It had been worth the wait, that was for sure.  Once the two finally sat back, all grins, Caroline took a deep breath and let it out in a happy sigh.  "I think I can manage staying for a little bit longer."  Both of them laughed and she leaned back in for another kiss.  She could risk missing curfew for this for sure.
