There are certain things you come to expect when you’ve been in the narcotics business for as long as Nevada ; drive-bys, late-night ER visits, failed rehabs and successful ODs. But pretty, bright-eyed brunettes sharing the bar scene with hookers and junkies isn’t something you’d ever expect to look out on, regardless how many years you’d spent in the business. She was a beacon garnering unwanted attention from men and women alike, and it’s why he’d approached her in the first place — no one dared mess with anything Nevada Ramirez had his eyes on. That, and he wanted to see if la santita was really as innocent as she looked.
Luckily for him, it turns out she wasn’t, and he unlocks his door with a grin as crooked as his personality and ushers her into his large flat. It’s spacious and lavish inside and no one would take a sweep of the interior and think it was property of a kingpin. It starts raining and the lights of the city mix with the water running down the windows and create a dark, ambiance lighting.
“¿Qué te parece, ñiña?” Firm hands rub her shoulders as lips and stubble brush against the back of her pale neck. “¿Te gusta?”

Trinity wasn’t such a bad place, so long as you knew the right people. At least, that’s what she’d learned living down here.
Somehow she’d managed to find herself deep in the heart of the organized crime syndicate that originated out of Trinity, South Carolina, and wrapped around the finger of the Sheriff and his right hand woman herself.
“What do you want out of me then?” she asked, folding her arms over her chest as she watched the Southern Belle carefully.

questions about your character.
☺ - Do they prefer sour or sweet treats?
Seth is more of a Sweets kind of guy. While he can occasionally enjoy something sour, it tends to make his tongue and cheeks raw because he’ll keep going back for more.
❄ - Favorite season and why?
Summer for sure. One, because he isn’t too big on being cold and having to bundle up.Two. …Well. Summer is a pretty active season for him, people are out more. More jobs, mean more money.
☮ - Do they have an idol or someone they look up to?
While he probably wouldn’t admit it right up front, Richard used to be his idol, before he went all “Wackjob” on Seth. It has to do with the fact that Richard, in a way when they were growing up, was a father figure to him. Teaching him how to get into robbing places and people.

Matt could tell he was dying.
Fading from existence would probably be a better way of describing it, technically. His energy level dipped lower and lower each day, and that’s when Matt knew he needed to find another life-source. The man that he’d picked decades ago was going to be no longer for the world, and that certainly wasn’t going to be enough to sustain the demon for longer than a few days after he passed.
So he wandered through the streets of Baltimore, invisible to everyone around him, trying to suss out something that would prolong him for at least a couple more decades. Occasionally he would see a person shiver as he walked past them, and he’d smirk. They never cognitively knew what made them uncomfortable, but their body did. That was one of the most entertaining parts of being a demonic entity - the unknown influence on humans.
Matt found his way to a park and he sat on a bench off to the side, near a heavy growth of trees. His eyes scanned potential bonds, checking them off one by one as they failed to meet his needs. New mother? Nope. Old man playing chess? Nope. Little girl picking flowers? No -- well.
Perhaps.
He would’ve skipped by the little brunette had it not been for two things: firstly, he couldn’t help but feel a small stab of nostalgia as he looked at her, watched her make a daisy chain out of dandelions. She reminded him of his own daughter, departed many moons ago. Her innocence made him smile, as only a demon can smile, and he stood to get closer to her.
Secondly, she could see him.
He wasn’t sure how, but he’d noticed her glancing at him like he were any other adult in the park, keeping tabs on him in her own child-like way. That in of itself, was a good enough reason for him to want to latch onto her for her life-energy. Sure, it was probably wrong, but demons are hardly ever moral.
“Hello,” he said as he neared her, crouching down next to where she sat in the grass, unseen by the rest of the people in the park. “That’s a very pretty chain of flowers you’ve got there. Could you teach me how to make one?”
