“Are you ok, little wolf?” he asked, smoothing the other’s hair.
Fred looked over at Liv and shook his head, took his travel mug out of the cup holder and sipped his coffee, then chuckled as he set it back down. “You know, it’s safer for you to drink my coffee than it would be for a mortal. And it’s not as weak and watery as those energy drinks. I still think you’d do better if you just closed your eyes and let yourself take a nap. We’re going to be hitting a shortcut soon, and if you’re not prepared for it, you’re likely to be a little unsettled.”
He shook his head and muttered, “The Brits used to do this once a month, with their White Elephants, but ever since their new PM....”

“You uh--- You come here often?” It was a semi-known place for those of his kind, the giant furry barking type, all jokes aside, Adam was all eyes for the pretty little thing he was trying to smooth talk to but it wasn’t exactly going his way, stumbling over words and the dead give away that he was slightly intoxicated by the reddening of his cheeks. Still, it didn’t stop him from flashing a grin and offer his hand, leaning against the bar some to reach over to the young woman he was speaking to. “I’m Adam, by the way, you’re really beautiful-- I mean... you look great, I... shit, sorry, words are difficult.”

A Need

The Chaos Dragon smirked at the angel, reeling her in to his web. “You smell of innocence, but I can feel your need.” He walked around her, his voice echoing around her head. “You yearn to kiss me, to touch me. To feel Chaos.”

The wolf bristled a little, shaking his head. “I’m not used to this, not used to being treated as home.” He didn’t want her to see him weak and needy.

“Is my angel ready to sin?”

He hadn’t been listening to his friend for some time, Geo’s attention was elsewhere and had been since the moment he had spotted her. So he’d had a few drinks and a long, long few months of training. Tonight was his night to wind down, have some fun and let loose. His friend thumped the table, jolting it into Geo and making the blonde snap his head back to pay attention to the other soldier. His drink spilled on the wooden surface and he glanced down at the mess, shaking it off from his arm and hand before he looked up at the red faced and obviously drunk soldier. “What?” He asked, frowning slightly before he let his gaze flick back over to the young woman he’d been watching before only to let it return reluctantly to the other soldier who was now laughing at Geo.
“If you are so enamored with the beauty that has held your attention since we arrived, Geo, perhaps you should pursue her?” His friend teased, far too amused by Geo’s distraction. It wasn’t entirely his fault, he was indeed enamored, had been from the moment he’d seen her, mixed with his lovely buzz and the liveliness of the place. Geo was feeling a bit bolder than he may have any other night, given he was a soldier, one would think him boisterous and perhaps even arrogant. But he was none of those things, unlike some of his counter parts.
The bunch he had entered with were getting rowdy and Geo’s head was starting to hurt, granted, he was trying to fix up the courage to actually go speak to the woman. Shifting from the table he downed what was left of his drink and mad to get some more, which was really just an excuse to get away from his bantering and taunting battalion. He had other plans in the back of his head, whether or not he’d go through with them depended on the next drink he got.
"I can sense you..."
@carpedemuses
The wolf licked his lips as he smelt another shifter in the vicinity. “It’s not every day I pick up the scent of another shifter, darlin’. Where did you pop out from?” An almost feral smile crossed his lips at this. The thrill of the chase began to brew in his veins. It was one of his favourite pastimes after all, and if the new arrival could sense him, instinct would cause them to have a lot of fun.
