i watched frankenstein over the weekend and can now start reading Psyche’s lamp and have i ever been happier??

A little over halfway into the first chapter and at the end of every passage i am reminded of how lucky i am every time you write for a ship im also into!! Small miracles!!

I have a non-traditional ring too, white gold and sapphire, that my fiance (now husband) designed for me! The metal work looks elven on mine - and the fact that our SO's chose designs like that shows that they love us enough to pay attention to what we like. I DO/am still kinda writing reylo btw!! I have like 5 WIPS I never finished, I just can't control the hyperfixation goblins (tragic). I really hope to be able to finish those at some point, and then either MAYBE start a new one? or possibly rewrite some of my old favorites which i see a lot more potential in than I initially gave myself time to flesh out (which im doing currently with an old kastle fic oops).

Genuinely the only two things worth watching are: Jules finding out from Cal about Nate, and Nate and Jules smoking together. YouTube search “cal and Jules talk” “Nate and Jules smoke”, THE REST OF IT IS HOT GARBAGE. They’ve slaughtered both Nate and Jules’ characters, my friends and I are just hate watching now and it really is just Sam’s fetish porn for Sydney Sweeney now. Nate and Jules have so little screentime individually as characters too and what screentime they do have is….abominable. Despicable. TO AO3

You know, there is so much that could be done with a modernised reimagining of the Brontes in 2026, and Emerald Fennell just freaking quarter-assed it.

You mean a modern Wuthering Heights? God absolutely. But that would require her to be critical of the landowning upper British classes in a far more severe and explicit way than Saltburn really pulled off and unfortunately she didn’t come with that sauce.
