*“Dad, we promised no secrets right?” Carrie gave him a look, one that had become quite familiar over the years after her mom left, a gaze of pure worry. “I told you about mine and Julie’s friendship issues and every single Dirty Candy showcase since we got back from summer, and suddenly you’re with Dr Crystal double the amount and our whole house smells of cooking spices. Has something happened? Because we can watch Grease tonight and it will fix everything.”

“Sage clears the house of spirits okay!” he exclaimed, his eyes going wide at the realisation of the confession he had just made.

“Spirits as in ghosts? You said ghosts don’t exist! That is the most ridiculous thing you could probably ever say and you own a helicopter with your face on it!” Carrie sighed, pulling his hand towards the car park.

“Caroline wait,” he held his hand out, eyes begging for her to listen to his frankly wild reasoning.It was rare the full name was ever used, only if she was in trouble or there was serious business at hand ….in this case when her dad is rambling like a mad man about ghosts. The full name signified importance, which to Trevor, this entire moment was.

“Pizza at Gino’s for dinner, and I will explain everything.”

Bobby angst incoming

im really feeling it today,which kind of explains the origins of this but bear with me and grab some tissues because this one is gonna be rough.

Bobby takes care of the boys a lot when they stay with him and dont get it wrong,he loves them more than anything in the world, but one day everything  just gets too much  and he sort of snaps at the boys without meaning to and that's possibly where  luke starts to help out  a little seeing how broken Bobby is taking on many of the stresses of his friends.like Bobby just shouts and it freaks them all out a bit.

Bobby has spent so long looking after everyone around him he's forgotten that he has to care for himself too, and maybe thats why as well that Luke is so angry with Bobby stealing the songs,because it was the thing they shared together that was ever truly theirs, but part of him deep down is like 'he finally learnt how to take care of himself'

@queenmolina helped well round this and it made it ache even more than before

what if Bobby wasn’t just forced to take the songs  by the label but it was also out of desperation,he was so desperate for Carrie to not have to go through the same chaos he witnessed his friends went through,he would do anything to make sure that Carrie is well looked after and stuff, It’s always been in his nature to care for others before himself,this means he has strained relationships with people,like Carrie’s mother who sees it as selfish that he focuses more on Carrie than he does his wife/girlfriend and maybe she leaves and stuff.

Bobby cared for others but never fully learnt how to care for himself.
