Snufkin wanted to join them in sleep, too, but he hadn’t set up the tent yet, too tired from his skipped meals and too pained from the cold. I just wanted to say I'm selfishly really happy to see that you're making moomins art again bc your art and your fic were such a massive inspiration to me and established the vibe that I aspired to find in my own work. if it wasn't for you I would never have started the project that's been most dear to my heart over the past two years. you've shaped so much of my early experience with the moomins and notably defined the way snufmin feels to me, my favourite tropes for them that I just keep going back to all the time, and the kind of stories that I seek out for them. at a time like this when I'm so burnt out I think I sorely needed to see your work and be reminded of how much of a mark it left on me and how much I loved this series before. it's like refreshing, it clears my mind of all the muck that accumulated throughout the pandemic and helps me see clearly again. and it just makes me happy

hmm i talked about some songs that are really special to me back in this ask, but i guess if i had to choose one, lately “This Is Home” by Cavetown has been really meaningful to me lately, it really captures alot of the struggles i’ve been having with mental health stuff lately

when sending this i don’t think you expected an essay, yet here we are. got carried away, i love thinking about my dream house.
ohhh i would love a house that’s not in the middle of the city, but also not so far away that it’s hard to get groceries and stuff. something small, just big enough to fit my needs. somewhere where it’s quiet, no constant sirens or banging, shouting, loud music blasting, fireworks, loud unidentified explosions, etc.
inside i would like the basics, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc. but i’d also like a little office where i can work/do art stuff, and maybe a special room for like, my special interests? like one room where i can keep all my merch stuff that makes me happy, cause i know people tend to look down on adults having fun merch stuff for some reason, so it would be like, my secret room with posters and merch and i could go play video games in there and not worry about what people think. OH it could totally have a secret door, like one of those bookcase doors. that way when people come visit they will be like “wow, a mature adult with a plain house, very professional and socially acceptable” not knowing there’s a room with all sorts of video games and stuff from my fav series. just like a secret super comfortable gaming room. idk how to describe it.
oh and i would totally want to make a little cat patio like this or something so my cat could enjoy being outdoors but still be safe/follow my personal values
one with a nice little backyard that i could go relax in, like with some tables and chairs under a patio so i can eat outside. i’d love to have a garden but i’m allergic to most plants so idk how that would work lmao, one that just kinda runs rampant and does what it wants, cause i think nature is prettiest when it’s wild and not fine tuned. i’d love for the backyard to be really green and have trees, maybe one of those cute tree swings you see on tv. maybe a small little above ground hot tub cause that would be heavenly to sit in a warm hot tub enjoying nature.

hmm i’d like a fragrance that’s really sweet and comforting, the feeling of waking up all warm and comfortable in bed and smelling fresh baked cookies in the kitchen. so i guess, sweet calming smells? idk

hmm, i actually spent awhile thinking about this, i’m not sure i have a favorite article of clothing. i don’t actually have many clothes in my style. though if i had to pick one, i guess the flowey/l sea foam green blouse with lace around the edged that i have? i was gonna send a picture but i cant find any, google said im not valid cause it’s one of the few clothes i have that’s my style, but i don’t get to wear it often cause it’s too delicate to wear with my school bag
