LP! Claude & Athanasia's exchange...

I was re-reading the novel/manhwa again and the Korean version just really reveals a lot of things that isn't necessarily shown in the english version...

Like, Claude says, "나는 너를 단 한 번도 내 딸이라 여긴 적이 없다." Which is, "I have never once thought of /recognized you as my daughter." and "내가 죽는 날까지 그런 일은 없을 것이다." Which is, "Until the day I die, there will be nothing of the sort."

Which is odd, because ok, they're speaking to each other in a location where there aren't any other people, but Athanasia's still using the royal, "아바마마" or "royal father" when she addresses him and using, "저도", "제가" for herself which is a formal "I/me", whereas Claude is referring to himself as, "I" informal, and not using the royal We which is, "짐" pronounced, "Jim" in Korean.

IDK I just found it weird that if he was being so mean to her and emotionless in front of her crying as to how she could appeal to him, why did he not use the colder, more formal way to dismiss her? Why not use, "We have never once thought-" etc etc?

Is it because he's not in front of someone worth using it? I doubt it...he uses "We" in front of Roger and other nobles, why not Athanasia? Does he, deep down, recognize that she is his daughter (In LP), and thus doesn't use "We" when the two are alone? Thinking of her not as his blood, or the Imperial family's, but instead as a citizen and therefore using "I"?

Does he just think that she's lesser because he doesn't care about her at all and uses "I" just because???

Well, anyways...

(aka there was a coupon I hadn't used in ridibooks and I've just gotten all 5 volumes of the novels for just 11~euros/12.47usd like??? wow holy shit??? so CHEAP)
