Excursion day!
Before starting the aesthetic part of the web shop redesign, we wanted to know from closer the products we were intended to show up and their core qualities. Also, we wanted to be updated about the last brand image tendencies, which could be not already shown in the website; that’s why we paid a visit, all together, to the Lush shop in Rotterdam!
Indeed, it was really worth to go: we got several insights and collected precious, first-hand informations. For instance,
we experienced the products ourselves: their scents, textures, colors
we collected the most updated brand catalogs, in order to analyze their graphics and layout
from a talk with the clerk we knew much more about the brand identity, philosophy, mission
we could observe and report the strong points of the shop interiors atmosphere, and figure out how to restore them in the online version
