Stuck shed or mouth rot? Help!!!!!!

The noodle in question - 5 month old BP. I’ve had him for about a month and he’s been having a tough shed (humidity and temp are correct). I fed him last week and he ate perfectly. I hadn’t handled him for 72 hours until after eating so I didn’t get a good look at his face - he was hiding and digesting. On Saturday I handled him again and noticed these discolored scales on his face, circled above. No other discolored or abnormal scales on him anywhere. He’s acting completely normal. The inside of his mouth looked pink and normal last time I saw him yawn a few days ago and he’s breathing normally, no mouth rot symptoms except these weird colored scales. BF has heard from experienced snake owning friends that it’s just stuck shed and it probably is but I’m freaking out that it hasn’t gone away. What does it look like to you? Is it worth taking him to the vet or just stuck shed?

Pictures are not great because they are zoomed in from pics my BF took for a reddit post asking the same question and no one answered. I can get better pics tomorrow if anyone wants/needs. Feel free to drop advice on the stuck shed too! Thank you so much for even reading this post!!!! Noodle says thank you too.
