An easy way to get me to stop listening to your opinion on religion is to mix up your arguments about organized religion and theology.
"The Catholic Church is an organization run by rich white men." "I'm a dialectical materialist and I understand what you're talking about." "Also, if God existed why would He make people suffer?" "I'm a dialectical materialist and you've just changed the entire basis of your argument. You're trying to link your arguments about God and the church as if they're somehow related when they're not related at all, in any way. Cartesians don't give a shit about Marxists. You might as well have said 'How can fruit be edible if you can't eat the trees they come from?'; they're two separate things that you can't argue about in concert with each other."
