Incredible India 2015. Some more of the stunning high relief carvings at the UNESCO listed Khajuraho temple complexes in Madhya Pradesh state. A bit over 1000 years old, the incredibly fine detail in these chandela civilisation carvings and the grace and serenity depicted on the figures is just amazing. These particular figures are about a metre tall. Look closely at the delicacy of the finger poses and the fine detail of the garments and jewelery. Perhaps most amazing of all is that there are thousands of these figures at the sites.
