do u ever just think about carol and daryl and how the living world had very little meaning for either of them, these two people with good hearts who the world had completely stomped on, who both suffered horrendous abuse and really did believe they were Nothing, who found each other at the end of the world and despite being complete opposites on paper, realised they were the same at their core. who helped each other realise they still had the potential for good, for courage, for strength and love in spite of the grief and the loss and the circumstances, who grew together, understood each other without words through good times and awful, found each other time and time again against all odds, protected one another without condition, found joy and laughter and play in one another. who now have known one another longer than anyone else left alive. like... wow. do u ever just think about Them, and how no other love story will ever be able to compare
