The thing that upsets me the most is that no one ever told Cas they loved him. Not once in the show. And that's why, in the good version of spn, Dean tells Cas he loves him at least 5x a day. And Sam and Jack tell Cas they love him several times a week. Cas is so very loved and he should know it. He should feel it deep down in his bones until it radiates from his very being. Dean loves Cas. Sam loves Cas. Jack loves Cas. All different kinds of love; romantic, brotherly, and fatherly. His family adores him, and that's the love he deserves.

Cas’ symbolism to the sun and flowers seemed pretty well captured here. Cas is the new spreading ideals, he is the dawn of a new era, he is the weed the angel’s can’t kill. He and his family will sew the seeds of change. He just needs to set his roots.

jack and cas watching aquamarine together and it’s the end of the movie and jack says “that’s like our family. love holding us all together and being more powerful than anything else” and cas sorta stares at jack in awe and it’s the first moment where cas really realizes that his family loves him… he is loved… jack loves him and dean and sam love him… and maybe this movie is right that love comes in many forms and that’s okay because love in any form is powerful and beautiful and real
