Cascade Caverns - Pt.1 I don't have much to say, other than the fact that I love natures beautiful creations.
The cave imagery in the current chapter of TD was from caves I’ve visited - the ‘rocky tube’ from one I toured in Waitomo, New Zealand. But most of it came from Cascade Caverns in Bourne, Texas. It’s a place I loved as a child; we stayed at the campground multiple times. The weird thing is, I subconsciously remembered the cathedral room and the ‘rocky portal’ without realizing it - I did a GIS for CC and surprised myself. I was probably eight the last time I was there! I can’t seem to find a good pic of the waterfall at the end, which inspired the backdrop for the Kamarov scene.
We took an 8 hour road trip together for our 2 year anniversary and it was awesome, we also went cave exploring and it was beautiful.
