Reactor - Extended Cutscene
They call for a medevac, but when Price wakes up, he's not on it. So why not? A story bridging the two Reactor cutscenes, as told by Gaz.
“Cap?” Gaz asked uncertainly.
“Stay with us, sir,” said Soap.
Oh fuck. Gaz saw it too. Price wasn’t getting up. The coughing was nonstop, relentless. Breathless. They both began shouting at him to hold on. Grimacing, he latched onto Garrick’s arm with a determined grip. He knew he was fading as well as they did. As he struggled to right himself, Gaz fought to project his sheer will onto him. Don’t even think about it. A few feet of ledge was the only thing standing between them and a deadly fall. “Cap!”
“Stay with us, sir!” MacTavish pleaded, already too late. Price’s eyes rolled back, his hands slipping away along with his consciousness, his helmet thumping against the concrete.
“6-2 to Watcher. We need medevac now!” As Gaz shouted into the radio for help, they all descended on Price in a mad scramble to prevent him from rolling off the edge of the roof. “We need medevac now!” he repeated, hearing their exfil bird on approach.
“How many and what type, 6-2?” Kate asked.
“One urgent.” He had to raise his voice. “It’s Six.”
