So... my Libertas fanfic where Luxu is Sora instead of Braig... Allow me to just take a moment to breakdown the cascade effect this and several choices I have made have on canon.... The effect of Braig being Braig this time around
1 - Braig not being Luxu has no real reason to help Xehanort, thus making Xehanort's job trying to possess Terra harder. Of course, we don't know if real Braig would have helped Xehanort or not, but in this instance I have chosen that he would not have helped Xehanort possess Terra
2 - This pushes events back slightly, because Xehanort has to take more steps to get to Terra possession. Maybe pushes some things back even further because Luxu!Braig isn't poking Terra-Xehanort's memories
3 - Subject X, whoever she is - though heavily implied through evidence to be Skuld, isn't saved by Braig because of being a Dandelion - Braig doesn't recognise her because he isn't Luxu
4 - Because of events being pushed back - Subject X comes to Radiant Garden before Terra-Xehanort. So... she probably isn't called Subject X, and maybe has some memories. Dependent on how memories work.
5 - Not being saved by Braig - Subject X is there when the Apprentices fall to darkness - effect on fanfic? Subject X is also a founding member of Organisation XIII.
6 - Xigbar potentially doesn't have space as an element. That may have come from being Luxu. Who knows? If it came from Luxu... well... *stares at fanfic Roxas and Xion*
7 - Saix is now Number VIII. Minus the Original Six Nobodies in Org XIII, shift everyone down a number, because Subject X is now Number VII
8 - Roxas and Xion are now XIV and XV and neither of them have chairs in the round room. I have plans for this.
9 - Subject X is included in those "ancient keyblade legacy" reasonings Xemnas gives in KH3
10 - Xigbar is no longer a part of the Real Organisation. Subject X is however.
11 - Saix, Axel and Marluxia have a connection now because of Subject X who is heavily implied to be Skuld. Larxene also does. Who knows if Demyx and Luxord also have a connection there because of "ancient Keyblade legacy" but headcanons shall be my friend. I have given the connection to them. Traitor Trio has grown.
12 - Saix is not antagonistic towards Xion. I have chosen for Saix to join the ice-cream buddy-buddy on the clocktower.
13 - Roxas and Xion's defeats have changed. Now with 100% more angst. I am sorry.
14 - The coup plan at Castle Oblivion is different. More complicated. Still fails. More dramatically too.
15 - The failure of Castle Oblivion leads to Sora being asleep for two years instead of one.
