01. Hello pals! For this step-by-step guide, I’ll be recreating the masculine-frame version of my Poldavy Dress: With this dress, I wanted something similar to the one from Tiny Living, but fitted better for the masculine-framed sims. Whenever I am in CAS, I try to pay attention to meshes to g...
@anvilesi wrote another amazing in-depth tutorial on how to frankenmesh ts4 clothing! if you ever wanted to learn how to do it (bc 98% of these creators are weird and cagey with their knowledge...not us tho!), give this a click!
i look forward to seeing what you create!
Hi! I was wondering if you know a tutorial on how to convert clothing to accessory clothing, or a tutorial on how to make skintight accessory clothing? Hope you’re having a good day. :)
the easy way to do it is just change the outfit type to any other slot, and apply to all swatches**
this way you can change the outfit type to gloves, rings, left ring, etc or whatever and your game will allow you to use that fake designation alongside another actual clothing top. but there’s a catch...

Do you know of any tutorials of creating full body items and skirts ? I made this. And when I use the in game sliders it goes all wonky, like skirt becomes jagged and not smooth ?
i am not the best clothing maker so hopefully someone else can chime in but usually when the mesh cuts into the body or looks jagged, it’s something to do with uv1 and how its vertex painted?
if i do data transfer, i usually subdivide the mesh a few times and use the two colour vertex paint method demonstrated here from @mauvemorn . you can look through a mesh with a similar length/style and use that as a ref mesh for your transfer.
if there are any other clothing makers that can chime in, please do so! i’ll reblog this on my main
As my tutorial on solidifying a mesh states that clicking “fill rim” in blender may cause issues, and this is a way of making your fabric thicker, I have decided to make a tutorial on a better way of...
ts4 tutorial,ts4 cc,ts4 vertex painting
I made a tutorial to help my friend @enriques4 and wondered: why not share if others? I never make tutorials blaabala... so here I go! If you don´t know what the shadow map is, IS THE SHADOW THAT...
Blender 3D and advanced ambient occlusion baking information and techniques to make better texture renders
a SUPER detailed tutorial on baking better ambient occlusion (this is for blender 2.7x).
it details the common problems one might run into (the jaggedly look, issues with shadow around joined meshes, etc) and how to avoid them.
