“You're fucking insane,” Sam interrupts him, shaking his head.

For the WIP challenge: stick, phone, and back

I found ‘stick’ in a canonverse bed sharing story I’m working on:

Cas touches one of the pale pink walls. “I think we should stick together until we know more.”

‘Phone’ from my upcoming Pinefest fic, Like Curving Color:

Dean looks at his phone in horror before frantically sending a correction.

And finally, ‘back’ from my weird indulgent Cas and Dean do a condom study wip:

Dean silently begs Baby for forgiveness as he makes sure to hit a few other bumps on the way back

Would you ever write in first person?

If fandom didn’t seem to hate it so much I totally would. I like first person a lot because it is such a conversational and limited point of view but for some reason fandom seems to hate it on principle. I have done it plenty of times for non-fandom works (especially poetry) but I haven’t done it for fandom. I might if anyone was actually interested though. 

I will let you in on a secret though.... extremely close third person is basically first person without the “I” so I kinda do a lot of it already.

Thank you!    (Actually the bears was originally because I didn’t want to write “fall off a cliff and DIE” and jinx myself, but a. turns out I do need to keep in mind the bears (and mountain lions) and b. worry about falling off a cliff and DYING is apparently going to repeatedly be an issue for next two plus years. ...So there’s that. *knocks on wood*)
