ALRIGHT ON IT

Neil = Johnny (commitment to a chosen interest, external pressure) but also I think he could definitely be Joey (“I’m trapped”) if leaning into angst more

Todd = clearly Shannon as they both hate performing publicly and clearly struggle with self confidence, I also see a lot of him in Ollie when he starts to gain confidence

Charlie = definitely Alec from BCS. However if it’s just people in Tommen, then probably Gibsie (goofball with a lotta hidden depth) but I think he could also fit Joey!

Knox = Aoife due to their persistence in staying by the person they love, could also be Hughie in that respect but I feel like personality wise Knox fits Aoif more!

Meeks = hmm… Johnny! Johnny’s very clever so I think that fits well! He could also be Hugh (as he’s smart, and kind too)

Pittsie = definitely Hugh. He’s the introverted but not invisible, and he’s the friendly type. I see Hugh in him when Knox first tells the boys about Chris

Cameron = Lizzie, as a lot of the things he does are controversial and seem aggressive at first glance. However I could also see a bit of Patrick in how separate he appears to the rest of the group

Stick = definitely, definitely Patrick! Very quiet but kind, though he seems a bit evasive

Chris = clearly Claire, they’re both sweethearts and seem very kind people who care for the people around them a lot

Ginny = I see Katie in her (strong values but also a thoughtful person who could be quite fun)

Mr Nolan = Principal Twomey not just because they’re both headmasters but they’re also both dicks and a bit useless :)

Mr Perry = oooh this is a hard one! I’d say he’s a lot like Marie as he is certainly the antagonist but comes from a place of conflict and, though wrong and hurtful, is well-meaning!

rereading THAT scene in r6 for ~research purposes and what gets me the most about it is that aoife and casey’s responses to katie crying are SO similar but at the same time SO different it’s FUNNY

aoife is like nooo bestie why you crying who do we have to fight?! yk like a normal friend

meanwhile casey goes all up in patrick’s space and says if you do not tell me what the fuck happened to her i will end your fucking life and your fuckass farm like CALM DOWN girl he’s just the messenger

they’re both protective but the way they show it is so them to their core, where aoife approaches her worried she’s still thinking rationally through it. casey is impulsive. while aoife’s logical side wants to make sure katie is alright first and for her to explain the situation, casey’s fierceness wants to hurry the fuck up with the questions and take action asap.

and then katie. katie, bless her heart, provides NO INFORMATION. that is so damn funny to me. she says it’s nothing. she says it’s fine. you see this girl? this girl does not like to say what’s going on. this girl could be abducted by aliens in the morning be freed in the afternoon and still show up to dinner later with no mention of anything that happened. and it makes casey SO FUCKING MAD.

katie probably saw aoife and casey outside her house and thought oh no now they’re going to ask questions. and they indeed asked questions. like yes katie they’re your friends if you’re crying they would like to know what’s the reason.

i love these girls. they’re so funny when they shouldn’t be and for what.

and what makes the scene even funnier is alec and podge just arriving at the worst possible time. couldn’t you wait a bit more to greet the girls and rant about the fancy car, i wanted to know what was going on.
