having read the script a million times one thing that always sticks out to me about casey actually constantly living in fear. like. for the entire story he is scared of the tourist not only because of the power they hold over his life but because he has HEARD OF THE HORRIBLE SHIT THEY DID FROM THE RADIO NO WONDER HE’S SO TWITCHY

which blows my mind because this is the apocalypse, and radios are probably hard to come by, so what in the actual fuck did the tourist do before coming to NOLA to have enough radio chatter about them that casey heard??? or did henri speak to him before about it?????

but like back on topic the way this influences how casey acts towards the tourist is AUGH. like my first playthrough i was so confused why casey wasn’t mad at the tourist for killing kenneth but like. he was scared it’s because he was scared.

and like it’s said!!! casey is directly characterized as being scared of the tourist!!!! they talk about it!!!! so like. do you think tourist reminds him of jess and that’s why he’s so scared of them
