Alice & Cash Ottomas, Day 85, Part 2
Alice and Cash had leftover woohoo in car wants from a date a little while ago that they finally got round to fulfilling.
Cash wants to get fit. He's getting there...
Alice: How are you travelling, Dad?
Peter: I'm still here, I guess. Getting through. I know she was always talking about dying, about me being without her, but I still didn't want to believe it was coming... And of course it's got me thinking about your mum a lot more again. More than fifteen years since she died, and yet sometimes it feels like just yesterday.
Alice: Fifteen years, huh? Has it really been that long?
Peter: Yep. I wonder what she and Candy are making of each other up there... You know, I wish there was still room for me back at our old house, with Sharla and Tommy. Jay and Skye are lovely, but they're not family. I couldn't expect Reef and Malachi to share again, though.
Alice: By the sounds of things, you'd better not if you don't want them to kill each other! I guess there's always David's room, but it's pretty small, full of years of junk.
Alice: Why don't you move in with us?
Alice: I've only just thought of it, but there's only the punchbag and the chess board in the old nursery. We could easily clear it out and then that could be your room. It's not massive, but bigger than David's room, anyway.
Peter: And what does Cash think about this?
Alice: I haven't run it by him, because it's literally just occured to me. But I'm sure he'd agree - he's big on family, because of how he grew up away from his. Think about it, yeah?
Peter: Well, maybe... maybe if you run it by Cash and see what he says and then... we'll see.
Peter: I'd better get going.
Alice: Okay. We're always here for you, Dad. I love you.
