I ship it XDDD
I think I get what you mean, what with my mimicry I end up acting like a character even if I didn't before I watched the thing
Yep, exactly. I become the character rather than identify with them lol. The only character I can really tell I identify with, is Dean Winchester, but that’s also because I’ve thought about his personality and everything over and over and over, while for other characters it’s all more instinctual, so to speak.
I like the idea of this, but I wonder how they could pull it off without it just coming across as a re-hash of Swan Song... Maybe the connection will sever and he'll get pulled back at the last minute?
onlyaloadofcodswallop replied to your post “I was thinking that if the Empty is in some way or the other the key...”
God I really hope not, I feel like if that's the case they'll do something stupid to avoid it and cause some other catastrophic event
Also @casisautistic sent me a message asking for my thoughts on the Winchesters’ fate in relation to the Empty -
I agree with what @f-ckyeahfutbol was written here (I’ll copy and paste it for convenience I hope you don’t mind):
It would provide us with nice narrative symmetry. I think he might be faced with the choice – or even make the choice – but Dean’s end game is what we kept seeing last season, returning home to someone he loves waiting for him to get there. That’s the trajectory he’s on.
Yes, I think that (if the thing happens of course) it will be both symmetrical and opposite to the Swan Song situation. Instead of the acme of a tragedy, the key to achieve the happy ending. Kripke’s story was a tragedy, Carver’s story is a hurt/comfort story (sure, the comfort will come very very later on and now we have mostly hurt lol).
I think that in this season, the more decision a character says something with, the less true the things is going to turn out. Billie stated that no one comes back from the Empty with too much decision, if you get what I mean :)
The endgame for our characters is home. Home is what the show is about. Ever since the very beginning. I can never go home. They were never in fact homeless. We’re getting out of here, we’re going home. Home, Dean’s coming home. Dean’s, Sam’s and Cas’ endgames are home. Family. Love.
They won’t spend eternity in the void. They’ll tear that script too, because that’s what they do.
Castiel from Supernatural is Autistic, he often is literal (which is mistaken by people as sassiness), he is pointed out as being different from other angels, he’s been on earth for years but still has a hard time understanding humans and social cues (moreso than any of the other angels) he mimics actions and words, & has had sensory overload, he now knows pop culture references but doesn’t really *get* a lot of them, and his favourite heaven is the eternal Tuesday of an autistic man (maybe because cas can relate)
casisautistic mentioned you in a post “Psa”

it’s a great name!!
You can tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to. Hit shuffle on your music player and write down the first 20 songs, then tag 20 people. One rule: no skipping! I was tagged by dustydreamsanddirtyscars, sleepsintheimpala, and soldmysoultodeanwinchester (that one was a while ago, sorry it took me so long!) Thank you for tagging me!

No idea what this tells you about me, except maybe that I've got extremely varied taste. Just a few weeks ago I had Desire by Gene Loves Jezebel on endless replay, and now my Hiroshi Watanabe obsession is back. I swear half my Japanese homework back from my Bachelor's wouldn't exist without this guy (and the other half wouldn't exist without Exit Trance)
I'm tagging croatoan-the-line, memberoftheangelgarrison, walkintothestream, and casisautistic :) You don’t have to of course if you’re busy or don’t feel like it.
