for all the things that made me stop reading the current uncanny run i still think the funniest was rogue very delicately going “logan… i think you have ptsd.”

like. from an out-of-universe perspective, this could be a few things. a fun easter egg, potential foreshadowing as they head towards utopia of quentin's eventual de-jarring, the fact that there's only been 6 years since riot was published & the sliding timescale puts them even closer together.

in-universe, i am. marveling a little bit? bc so frequently ppl who don't like quentin downplay or ignore the fact that he... did something??? he fucked it all up ofc but. a huge chunk of the student body was out on the lawn protesting inviting humans to the school during riot. not just his crew. people gave a shit about jumbo dying, as a prominent member of the mutant community & influence on their culture, so the vigilantes that struck back afterwards meant something. xavier stepped down. quentin mattered & this is. such a cool little thing pointing to that???
