Reading a book I want to read so bad except it’s terrible when I do read it :(

#it’s about a post apocalyptic society after power grid failure where this girl figures out how to organize a radio and meanwhile a guy who #loves her follows the railroad tracks across the country to her and it’s supposed to be like everyone incrementally rebuilding hope and #society and it’s called the lightest thing in the universe and the lightest thing is love #which should all be so good!!! but then I read it and it’s all just lecturing everyone who doesn’t have the exact right take on politics and #meanwhile stereotyping every group of people imaginable #and being like yeah these two people met twice in their lives and had sex and now the guy’s going to travel there but like vaguely cause he #doesn’t really know what else to do #the author is being sooo annoying and yet it’s such a good concept!#anyways might just have to give up and reread Grace’s apocalypse verse and then watch love and monsters or something #or write the story that’s in my head #might grit my teeth and try a little more but idk if I can do it #a book can be stupid as it pleases but it must Not be annoying #or boring #that’s it

i recently found a few scenes i ended up cutting from my writings and was wondering if it would make sense to post them here?

please tell me if that is something youd be interested in. obviously these scenes would be taken out of context and probably have no definitive ending.

id still only choose scenes from writings ive already uploaded either here or on ao3. and maybe projects i had to abandon. so no spoilers if this is something youre worried about.
