(( I think about Cass’s family quite a bit, but never really talk about them much. Anyway, here’s a brief explanation of some of her family’s quirks ( and her own ) just for funsies! ))

James Daniel Adams ( father ) - His quirk is a rather common one that makes sense in relation to Cass’s, Electricity. Can generate and control electricity. He works at what was his mother hero company back in the states. Bit of a sleeze-ball although he acts very friendly and outgoing. Claims to love his daughter but has zero interest in her at all, overall absent in her life. Probably doesn’t even know where she is, that kind of dad. Opportunistic and always looking for ways to grow the company.

Sara Elin Kessler ( mother ) - Her quirk is very op, I’ll admit, but she’s rather scary. She can control life energy, taking or giving as she sees fit, mostly uses it to keep herself looking young. Exhausts her when it’s overused. She controls a small circle of villains back in the states but could honestly do a LOT of damage if she felt like it. She’s a total bitch, hates her daughter for being born and giving her stretch marks. Terrible person and you never know her next move.

I chose these quirks for her parents in order for the combination to make sense for Cass’s own quirk. She controls energy like her mother but on a simpler level like her father. While she could probably pull moves like her mother and simply drain people it’s not in her character so it’s not something she would probably ever do. Her training is mostly based on electricity and fire based energies, but can branch out into other forms if needed, however each type has its downfalls mostly based on how it hurts her. Electricity stings, fire burns, etc.

I like to think that Cass’s main strong point in battle is quirk creativity. Always thinking of new ways to use her power ( throwing sand and superheating it to molten glass for example, however there’s always a lot of room for failures. )

I don’t want her to be op so there’s drawbacks to using too much power and for the most part she has to absorb the energy before she can use it. Her power bill is pretty high, as she takes energy from the electrical outlets a lot. Carries a lot of batteries in her pockets for pick me ups.

Her backup weapons are energy bombs ( that can be used as an energy source as well ) and a stun baton. Just for when she runs out of juice in battle. She’s gets very tired if she uses too much, and can run the risk of passing out if she dips into her “life” energy.

I am sorry if the joking undertone does not make it through on some posts. But I do not think the real Batgirl/Orphan/Black Bat (I do not know her current name) has a Tumblr account.

(ooc: I have no idea what anyone else is doing about secret identities but as for me I am trying to keep things secret. Cass is trying to do damage control for the sus posts here by lying through her teeth and hoping people take the whole thing as a bit they're doing. For actual vigilante work Cass is going out as Black Bat but that's obviously not something she would reveal on tumblr dot com)

Another small window into Cass’ former career in mining. Not exactly how she expected things to end but then there was a lot she didn’t expect to happen..  least of all by the hands of her own company.
