Carlos made his way through the busy crowds of people that currently occupied The Pint. He wasn’t that shocked to find the place so busy, after all, it was one of the safest bars in the city at the moment- neutral territory for everyone, where people could go to drink peacefully, especially those that were not involved in the gang war that currently plagued the city. It was part of the reason that Carlos had invited Cassidy there of all places, they could drink with ease and perhaps even play a game of pool.
He could still feel the tension in the air, even if he was choosing to ignore it. He knew that at any moment, a place such as this could stop being safe and a fight could break out, he was sure that at least half the patrons in here were packing something, Carlos included, but he always had something on him, not wanting to get caught in a situation and not be able to protect himself.
Clutching the two beers in his large hands as he finally approached his older brother, nodding his head at him as he handed one of the drinks over. “Thanks for meeting me, bro.” He said honestly, he’d been slightly lax when it came to spending time with his family since he had gotten home. “Didn’t expect it to be so crowded though.” He chuckled, taking a small sip of the slightly bitter beer and nodding his head. “You been busy?” He asked curiously.
