I know this past year has been rough for you and that nothing is ever going to be the same, but I’m so proud of you, sweetie. You’re amazing. You’re one of the strongest people I know. Even though I’ve never been lucky enough to meet you,  (someday it will happen, it has to and we’ll run to each other and hug while Rainy Season plays because that’s just who we are) you’ve been a huge role model to me over the past 4 years that we’ve been friends. Thank you for befriending an annoyingly cliche 14 year old back then because I wouldn’t be who I am if I hadn’t met you. 

You’re the best. You’re a dork. You used to eat corn dogs with peanut butter on them. Your cat is actually a human toddler and your dog is afraid of her. You’re actually the real life combination of Rapunzel and Taylor Swift, with a hint of Satan. You’re the jasonmorgans to my samanthamorgans. I tell you “I hate you” and “LEAVE” 4 times a day, but I love you and I can’t imagine not having you around so please never actually leave. You’re my clone; we like basically all the same things, we get sick at the same time, we literally finish each others sentences and say the same things at the same time. I think we’re considered friendship goals, but I’m not even sure this is friendship because we’re literally just weird clones who do the same things and everyone else we’re friends with spends 90% of the time like ????? over us. One of us can say a JaSam quote and the other person will show up in record time with a retaliation quote (”It was winter then, remember?”). Kirsten Storms probably has both of us muted on twitter because she’s seen us through so many shipping breakdowns and fandom changes. I know you’ve never watched Grey’s Anatomy, but Meredith and Cristina are brotp goals, but by my standards, we have them beat. You’re my person. 

Thank you for everything you’ve done for me and thank you for being such an amazing friend. This whole thing kinda sucked and I’m not really good with this kind of stuff, but you get the point; I love you. And yes, I love you MORE.

PS taylorswift, Haley is one of your biggest fans and if you could wish her a happy 22nd birthday, it would mean the world to both of us ❤

To throw in the two cents of someone who thinks it is OOC so others can understand where we're coming from, we're looking at her previous history with dating men and (not) moving in with them. After she and Jason broke up, she she turned down every offer to move in with someone she was dating. Even with Jason again - when they had been together again for over year, had no children to consider and had lived together before - she said no. She didnt sell her apartment until they were married (cont)

(cont) —Based on her past experiences, it seems odd for her to jump into that. Especially considering everything else you mentioned, they have Danny and Emma to consider and they’ve only really been dating for a few months. It’s very fast and doesn’t follow her usual path of not only putting the children first but of her consistent hesitance to take that step of moving in with the person she is with. I get that they’re in a solid and growing relationship, but IMO it feels very off to me.

Same, Hale. Lucky also asked her to move in and she said no. It’s just odd and seems very plot-point and not a genuine step in their relationship. But they want the audience to believe that Patrick and Sam are solid (for the Jason reveal) so I can understand the motives, but yeah it’s just not sitting well with me. It’d even be a bit better if they were looking for new places together, it’d work better for the story, but Sam and Danny up and moving into Patrick’s 3 months after dating is pretty ridiculous.
