CC I love you very much and forever is a very long time, so I'm not going to say "no" I'm going to say "That's statistically unlikely".

The problem you have with super-static sounds familiar. I have to be careful petting one of my cats because we'll zap my leg and his toes if he kneads while standing on my lap. We've found that keeping one hand on the cat at all times, as close to skin-to-skin contact as possible, helps keep us grounded relative to one another. Basically, the current flows smoothly instead of arcing. I can pet with one hand as long as the other is scratching or just resting against him.
Oh, I’ll try that out! I’m a very staticky person in general so I wish we had something like a grounding bracelet that didn’t have to be...well, grounded, but alas. I’ve just resigned myself to always getting a shock when touching anything metal from roughly November to May.

The only cats I have ever met who liked to butt their heads under people's chins for comfort were bottle babies who were orphaned very very young. We had one named Mononucleosis who was so tiny the entire cat fit on you neck for the first few weeks, and he head, chin, neck-butted his whole life.
I’ve known some former strays who would do it, and the cryptids would sit on my shoulder or chest when they were little, but I think they just sort of grew out of it. also “Mono” is a great name for a cat! :D

I have those sheets! Or had. Like 15 years ago? They're part of the drop cloth collection in the basement now.
Yep, sounds about right -- I inherited it as part of my “starter home” sheets when I went to college, which was closer to 25 years ago than 15 but I imagine they were a pretty standby pattern in the 90s.
Sadly it’s bound for the scrap bin soon for sure (the cats haven’t helped, and it now has tons of tiny holes in it) but I’ve been shopping around for a suitably botanical replacement.

Just have to say... DITTO THIS. I think the same thing every time I read it.
Maybe I should change it to something else, then?
I don’t know what that should be though, I’m unimaginative when it comes to those tags, lol.
Top five cities. Go!
1. London
2. Ottawa
3. The Hague
4. Vienna
5. Istanbul
#1-4 are all places I’ve lived in, #1 and #2 more than once, so these aren’t subject to change. #5 is a revolving door that includes Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Florence, Düsseldorf, and a handful of others that I’ve visited or lived in.

fabulous support from the commenter though! sorry you have to deal with this :(
They kudos’d my story, too, and genuinely restored a little of my faith in humanity. This plagiarism is less demoralizing than my last run-in. It’s just so low-effort, you know? And doesn’t even make sense for the new character swapped in.
warning: do not become my friend, I am The Worst
I hesitated posting this publicly bcz you don't now me from, well, anyone (I started following you for Marvel, keep following you for your hockey commentary... whatever will I do in June when it's all over? ;)) Anyhow, I was shocked by your post last night because I cannot fathom how your husband didn't know/have any clue & also because I was outraged on your behalf about the hair thing, which was probly the least important but... Fuck men & their hair obsession. I ADORE your hair! ::hugs::
I mean it was...frustrating as hell, and really upsetting. But at the same time, part of me gets where he was coming from. He’s a straight cis guy and all his friends are straight cis guys, and his only connection to the queer community is tangentially through me, and I (intentionally) haven’t been open about any of the stuff that’s been going on with me. He has a lot of attachments to traditional definitions and expressions of femininity, longer hair being one of them, and I guess it was just a really hard adjustment for him for him to go from, “okay, I’ve got my wife and she reads as femme most of the time and when we walk down the street together we read as a het couple” to, “I’ll still have my wife but sometimes she’ll read as...something other than femme? and people might read me differently and maybe as not-straight if we go out in the world together?” and that was a big deal.
So I get it. It’s hard for him. And he’s going to need some adjustment time. But he says he’s going to try and he’s not going anywhere and that’s what’s most important.
And thank you for this message babe. :) And for following me through all the stages of my ridiculous blog since I’m way too scatter-brained to manage having sideblogs! <3
10. Most smutty ship and 14.Character that you can’t imagine in any ship
10. Most smutty ship
CC idk how to answer this, I've probably read the most smut for Clint/Nat, but I feel like all of my ships are equally smutty?
14. Character that you can’t imagine in any ship
Nate from Leverage um, none? I like shipping, everyone is very shippable.
