Bobby Tank feat. Cass Lowe - Semi Precious ( RADIO EDIT)
Cass Lowe is one of those talents that deserve more recognition. I had this song on repeat for weeks. We need a follow up Cass!
Covering a classic Tina Turner track is never an easy task. I think this is a valiant effort. I love the dueling of lines between Cass Lowe and Shadowboxer, they really compliment each other. And the piano breakdown is a fantastic inclusion. The fact that this done in one take is phenomenal.

HAPPY NEW MUSIC TUESDAY!
@CassLowe - Birthmark
I'd like to introduce you all to my new favorite artist, Cass Lowe. Okay, so this is the only song I've heard of his, but it's so unbelievably amazing that I can't help but add him to my list o' favs. Birthmark is his [first and only (for the time being)] single that actually came out a few weeks ago, but it's new to me, and after you hear it, you'll understand exactly why I had to post it. Originally, I was going to just post the MP3, but then I saw the video and I was taken to another level of 'wow' that Mr. Lowe seems to create so brilliantly. I am so very looking forward to hearing more from this guy; I'm hoping for an album soon, Cass!
Cass Lowe - Birthmark
Many years ago I had the good fortune of seeing Newton Faulkner play in London, supported by the Script and Cass Lowe. Despite him being on first, I think the stand out moment of the show for me was Cass Lowe's looped mash-up of Lovecats by the Cure and Dreaming of you by the Coral. So I said hello after the gig and grabbed a signed copy of his current demo. I've been closely following his musical endeavours ever since, which seem to have been mostly production and writing for others (the list of acts he's worked with seems endless). However this week, at last he's released some of his own material. Enjoy.
Cass Lowe - Birthmark
In terms of industry song writing, Cass Lowe is a pro, writing for everyone from the Backstreet Boys to Chance the Rapper. Now he's claimed his latest work for himself. The eclectic nature of his song writing is captured in this one song as we travel through electro-pop, dream-synth, lo-fi indie acoustic - this guy can do it all. Often when artists try to blend this many genres, it can get a bit crowded, but Cass Lowe avoids this by taking his time with the progression the song and keeping focus firmly on the lyrics. This debut looks like a good start for this newcomer to the limelight.
