so what is the realationship between,cass,bomba and dem in 2019

Well, I hc that Cassandra is very close with Tugger, and they have a brother/sister relationship. Cassandra was the first cat to welcome Tugger into the Junkyard after he escaped from Macavity, so she was in that group with Tugger, Bombalurina, and Munkustrap.

After Bombalurina leaves, Cassandra sees how it affects her best friend, and how it affects her, so all she feels is resentment and anger towards the other queen. There are no happy feelings towards Bombalurina anymore, and Cassandra could care less what happens to her former friend.

Cassandra and Demeter are mates in the 2019-verse, and grew up together, but Demeter wasn't officially one of the Jellicles until later on. She didn't know Bombalurina, all she knows about the other queen is that she broke her mate's heart, and that's enough for Demeter to not like Bombalurina.

Yet another thing that is for me and only me and that one other person who I’m still too scared to tag. This was the edit I originally wanted to do for them, and for reasons unknown it took me three months to finish it hdsjkafhdsk. I’m not completely happy with the editing, but this is as nice as it’s going to get. And yes, I did in fact search for the video that was in those China 2012 gifs and add it to my edit because I’m going to USE that footage of them dancing DAMN IT. Anyway, enjoy some mild angst and maybe some implied ace angst.

Follow-up to this post, because it was fun to make and I wanted to do the side-by-side thing again with Cass as Jessica :) 

Although I’m a bit iffy about my song choice. It IS from the StarStruck soundtrack, and it sounds like it’s from Jessica’s perspective, and lyrically it’s fine, but the backing track sounds like music you’d hear in a meme (especially at the start of the song) ahdsjhfjhjds.

For day 6 of Jellicle Week of Demeter! Demeter as the punk rock version of Christopher Wilde, for my very self-indulgent StarStruck AU (focused on Demandra), because I can do whatever I want. 

Demeter Wilde is your optimistic, eager to please, yet somewhat oblivious of her own celebrity privilege, teenaged rockstar. Her life gets turned upside down when she meets cynical, anti-fangirl Cassandra Olson, who not only doesn’t fall for her charms like most people do, but calls Demeter out on her famous person bullshit. 

After being forced to spend time together in order to evade the paparazzi, Demeter tries desperately to win Cassandra over with her charisma. But no matter how much she tries to convince Cass that she’s a real, authentic person, Cass just keeps on shutting her down with cold words. But whoops, looks like through all that bickering (and a brief swim in a pond), they accidentally fall in love with each other, and the school dance is just around the corner...
