Can't believe Fire Emblem: Engage gave us such a strongly autism-coded character! I love Bunet so much, and the information we get about him makes me so happy as a neurodivergent person!!!
His dislikes list is mostly composed of sensory issues (strong odors, loud places, bright places, heavily flavored foods)
In his C support with Pandreo, he states that he avoids parties because they're too noisy for him.
Next, in their B support, when Pandreo informs Bunet that the food he prepared for his party wasn't exactly fitting for the party atmosphere (A fancy banquet rather than easy finger foods), Bunet takes it extremely hard despite receiving praise for its flavor. The notion that he still did something wrong is crushing to him- just like how neurodivergent people feel with rejection sensitive dysphoria
At the end of their B support, Bunet states that he will finally attend a party so that he may understand the atmosphere and redeem himself next time he caters. Their A support takes place after a party hosted by Panreo that Bunet attends, and, well...
Bunet is very clearly overstimulated from it all
There's also the fact that cooking is clearly not just a passion for Bunet, but rather a special interest. He's jumping at the bit to discover new flavors, recipes, etc etc. despite how odd it may seem (Like in Alfred's C support with Bunet where Bunet asked to taste the flower from his crown) He even tries to fulfill this discovery of flavors by...asking to lick people- which may not seem socially acceptable or like a strange thing to request- but to Bunet, it's not weird. It makes perfect sense to him, a neurodivergent person.
I love his character so much and would love to hear any other canon information relating to him being autistic, or any headcanons people may have!
