Casteswapped Ring Spirit

Do we have an official title for our casteswapped spirits? Did we ever figure that out? I’m not sure...?

I’m going to go with Ring-spirit Atem and Puzzle-spirit Bakura until that’s decided...

Wow it’s been a while hasn’t it? ^^;

Not sure if I’m going to finish this so I’m posting what I have. And I like what I wrote for the line art so I’m going to put that down here too:

You were minding your own business trying to get back your cursed gold, when the priestess you were about to kill turns into an undead necromancer and flips your ass.

A thing I wanted to do for Casteswapped...

I really really wanted to do a comic for Casteswapped, but it proved to be above my level as an artist. I just really don't want it to just fade to the back of my mind so I want you guys to know about it.

It'd start off with little Atem before the killings, going around and talking to each of the villagers, the ones that we know from the canon: Mana, Mahaado, Isis, Shada, Kalim, Seto, his father etc. And in each scenario he'd talk with them briefly and in the midst of the conversation give that person an item. The person would thank Atem and Atem would go to the next one. After Atem goes to the last person, his father, the scene switches back to the current time, with adult Thief!Atem placing the item he just gave to his father (in the previous panels) down on the floor of his empty home. He slowly stands and pledges to find justice for all of them.

And that's what I've really wanted to do, but I could not pull it off. I'm sorry guys. I wanted you guys to know about it though. The idea came from something Rows said back when we were first starting out. It was about something Atem did for each member of the village, and I really wanted to draw that. Anyway, thanks for reading guys. Maybe I'll advance enough to be able to do this undertaking eventually I don't know.

Casteswapped to return from hiatus with new material.

The casteswapped blog is also going be reblogging a bunch of old sketches, drabbles, character studies and what not from the mods personals in order to try and keep the body of work in a place that easily accessible. (It's hard to find year-old works to reference even with a tagging system. Or maybe my computer's just weird.)

Thanks to everyone for being so supportive and sticking around this long.
