When characters behave out of character without a believable reason for it.
When the grammar is so bad that a non-native notices it.
When the sex scenes drag on too long or when there are too many of them.
When the author uses all of the little knowledge of Japanese language they have in a fic (as in when the characters randomly utter simple Japanese phrases in middle of English sentences just because the author knows how to say that in Japanese).
When everything is happening in Japan, but the author know nothing of Japan (I cringe every time a character walks indoors with their shoes on or takes a bath like a Westerner).
When the author doesn't know how snow behaves (living in a country where we get quite a lot of snow each year, it annoys me when in fics, for example, it rains, but the snow stays perfect or they build a snowman when the temperature is -15℃).
8. Do you have any ships you don’t like or used to but don’t anymore?I'm fairly tolerant. :D Let's see... I don't like Krad/Dark (D·N·Angel) very much. Or Martin/Arthur (Cabin Pressure) or Martin/Henry (Cabinlock). I also don't see the allure of Anakin/Obi-Wan or Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon (Star Wars). I don't think I have any ships I used to like...

1. Favourite book(s) + What book or books were special to you in your childhood? (What was particularly special or memorable about those books?)
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne. It's just such a magical book for me. I love how the underwater world is described and the story of being pulled to a completely different world by chance...against the characters' will. It just appeals to me.
I can't really think of any book that would have been special to me when I was a kid… Maybe Narnia. My mum used to read them as bedtime stories and they read them at my kindergarten, too. My mum also read a lot fairytales when I was small. My favourites were The White Cat and The Snow Queen. And of course Sherlock Holmes as well. I think I was about 12 when I read them for the first time and fell in love with them.
2. Favourite TV show(s) & memorable/favourite moments in them
Well, currently they'd probably be Sherlock and Doctor Who. :D I love Granada Holmes very dearly as well. I can't think of any specific moment… I really appreciate all the canon and Rathbone and Granada and The Private Life references in Sherlock. I'd say Sherlock is just a huge chain of memorable moments.
3. Favourite movie(s) & memorable/favourite moments in them
The Star Wars saga. \(◕o◕✿)/ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧
I just love all of it. Episode I is the first I saw and the moment I knew I was in love was when Qui-Gon Force pushes the droids on Naboo. I don't know why that became a memorable moment to me, but it just did. Another one is when in ep. V we see Vader kneel and the huge hologram of the Emperor appears.
One of my favourite moments in the entire saga is when Luke steps out to see the suns setting. The music in that scene. (ﾉﾟ0ﾟ)ﾉ Queen Amidala's speech to the Senate in ep. I ranks high as well: "I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee!"
Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. He's such a complex character, who's been through a lot shit in his life with so many expectations put on his shoulders since young age. And I think a lot of purist fans fail to see this. He and Padmé are among my favourite pairings. What can I say, I love tragedy. (ノ￣△￣)ノ♥
Sherlock Holmes. But I've never seriously been pairing him to anyone. I've never felt it'd be something he'd do. But I do like johnlock. And jimlock because fuck yeah twisted relationships! (｀▽´) That's also why I'm pairing Krad and Satoshi from D·N·Angel.
5. Where would you like to live and why
UK! I've lived in Edinburgh for a month, but I'd like to live in this country longer. Maybe not in Edinburgh, though. London of course would be a dream come true.

I could live more in Japan, too. I'm currently in Tokyo, but I feel more at home in Yokohama. Yokohama because that's where I spent my exchange year. London because I've liked it since I was a kid. My aunt lives there, among with many fictional characters.
6. What would you like to do for living
Sit in my room with a laptop..? |_・) Ah, I've been wanting to work at an airport since I was a kid. But I can't do it in Finland. ¬_¬
7. If you would fall through crack in time into your own personal past, what would you do?
I'd try not to interfere with my past self's life. I suppose I'd just explore the world of that time with new eyes and try to find a way to get back to my own time.
8. Do you believe in anything supernatural?
No, not really. There are already plenty of wonderful things in the world without needing to hang onto something that probably doesn't exist. And I believe that some supernatural phenomenas, if they exist, are simply natural things that just haven't been fully explained by science yet, but will be explained in the future. If that makes any sense.
