When we don't used the cast kettle for a while. The rust grow inside and outside of the kettle. What should we do? I boiled a pot of dark oolong for 1/2 hours. And then used tea towel (soaked with tea) patting the kettle's surface gently. The tannic acid from tea really reacts the rust magically.
