Pairing: billy x castle!reader (established relationship)
Word Count: 1,741
Summary: When Frank’s sister finds out that a) her brother’s alive and b) her boyfriend is supposed to kill him, the conversation quickly turns bad.
Your brother, Frank Castle.
Months had passed and his death still didn’t feel real. You had seen the headstone, found a church that was willing to give the infamous Punisher his last rites. Even though Frank didn’t really care for religion towards the end of his life, your parents would’ve wanted it done so you made sure of it. You sent them the blessed crucifix from the private ritual.
You were frozen in place as the news story played out on your TV. The job Billy was working for the senator, the one he claimed was to protect from the unknown bomber, was also intended to protect him from Frank. Frank, the alleged accomplice to the bomber, was being framed - yet again - as public enemy number one.
You paused the screen when the channel was playing video from a cop car that very clearly showed your brother’s face and pulled your phone to text Billy. But as your finger was finding the conversation, you realized he would very likely lie to you again. He lied about the job to begin with, so why would he owe you an honest answer now.
So instead, you paced your living room until he finally made it home.
When you heard the door open, your grip tightened on the remote and you felt the urge to throw it. Either at Billy or close to it, you didn’t care, but you refrained from either. He walked in and said his usual greeting, moving in to kiss your cheek but you shoved him off.
“Tell me you didn’t know.” You said tightly, hoping the anger in your stare was enough to burn him.
“What do you mean?” He asked, a slight nervous chuckle pairing with the words.
“The bombings. All of it is being blamed on Frank.” You continued.
“Frank?” His brows furrowed and you had the urge to shove him again.
“Don’t talk to me like I’m stupid.”
“No, I- I’m not.” His hands went up in surrender. “I want to finish this discussion, really. But honestly, baby, I’m too damn tired. Can it wait till later?”
“So my brother is alive and I find out by chance from some news story and you want to talk about it later?” You said angrily, gesturing to the paused screen that still displayed the photo captured from a police car’s dash cam.
“Can we not do this, Y/N?” Billy sighed and dropped on the couch, covering his eyes.
“No, I think we should.” You snapped. “That is my brother, Billy. If there was even a rumor that he was still alive, you should’ve told me!”
“It was just a rumor.” He enunciated, still not looking at you. “I hadn’t heard from him so how was I supposed to know it was true?”
“You still should’ve told me!”
“I’m sorry!” He shouted, standing suddenly and. pausing you to take a small step back. “What am I supposed to do about it now? What- What- What do you want from me?”
“Jesus.” You sighed and put your hands up in surrender. “Nevermind. It’s just my brother, right? Who cares? Not like I had a right to know but hey.”
You stormed off to the bedroom and ignored Billy’s muttering as you left. You didn’t even need Billy to confess that he knew or that he was helping Frank hide. All you wanted was an honest apology, but he couldn’t even do that.
The days went on and you still said very little to Billy. You still did your usual routine, breakfast and coffee ready before he went to work. Dinner either on the way or finishing on the stove when he got home. But outside of that, or answering a direct question he asked, you were busy with a book or a new TV show. Anything really that meant you didn’t have to say anything to him.
It was right before his TV interview about the attack on Senator Ori at the hotel, which they were attributing to Frank. He had came out and asked if his tie looked okay and you said “Sure, it’s fine” without facing him.
“Jesus, Y/N/N. How long you gonna act like this?” He complained.
“I shouldn’t have to be the bigger person.” You spat back, still keeping your back to him. “I shouldn’t have to bend to keep us on track. Let me ask you this, Bill. That guy with the- the eye thing. He having you go after Frankie?”
“Y/N…”
“I swear to God I will walk out that door.” You threatened and turned to face him. You watched his eyes dart between yours as he took in your expression. “Everything you’ve been doing lately, was it all about Frank?”
“Yeah...”
“Catching him?”
“Yeah…”
“Killing him?”
You didn’t even know how you managed to get that question out but you did. It felt as if your throat had tightened and the three short syllables were rung out of your voice box like water out of a towel.
“Yeah…” He answered, voice barely above a whisper.
Your heart grew heavy in your chest and it nearly felt
like it had stopped beating.
“And you wonder why I’m pissed off.” You said flatly, pushing past and leaving him behind you.
“Baby, it's just business, alright? Nothing personal.”
“It should be personal!” You turned and shouted. “That’s my goddamn brother!”
“You want me to apologize for doing my job?” He asked sharply.
“Yes!” You threw your arms forward. “Apologize for trying to kill my brother!”
“It’s my job!”
“Well excuse me for thinking you cared about me more than a fucking paycheck.” You put hands up in surrender and turned away, back into the kitchen.
“C’mon, babe.” He sighed, hurrying after you. “It’s not like that.”
“It’s always up to me, even when it shouldn’t be.” You complained. “You want me to take the blame for a fight and I do. I do because I love you and I always think it’ll be the last time.”
“Y/N…” He said your name softly, confused even. As if he had barely realized what the routine with you had become.
Argue about something, sometimes petty and sometimes not. Then you’ll make up when you apologize, but nothing changes. It was a vicious cycle that Billy was completely oblivious to, until now.
“I think that maybe next time you’ll be the bigger person cause I’m sick and tired of carrying the burden of every argument.” You shrugged, tears forming in your eyes that you ignored. “Keep moving my boundaries so you don’t cross lines, keep quiet when you yell. All cause I thought I had to to make it last between us.”
“I… I didn’t realize.”
“Yeah, I know.”
He took a moment to think over his next words. It felt like a very defining moment for your relationship. He never meant to make you feel that way, and knowing he had was arguably the worst pain he’d ever felt. How did he not notice? How could he do that to you?
“Tell me how to make this right.” He said softly, gently reaching to take your hand. You looked up at him while you let your hand sit in his. He looked at you with wide, soft eyes that were begging for forgiveness. “I’ll do anything.”
“You think it’s that easy?” You countered with a small challenge. “Billy, you’ve been hunting down my brother for a man who doesn’t care about you. That guy will throw you under the bus as soon as he needs to, just like everyone else. But my brother? You know damn well Frank would’ve done anything to protect you. He never would’ve don’t this to you.”
“No… He would’ve.”
“Why?”
He looked towards the ceiling and sighed heavily. Your stomach felt tight and your blood ran warm with anticipation while you took a step back, taking your hand away from his.
“What did you do?” You urged.
“The carousel.” He began and that knot in your stomach grew tighter.
“You were there?”
“No.” He looked back to you, a silent plea in his expression. To hear him out, to believe him, to forgive him. “No, I wasn’t, I swear.”
“You didn’t shoot him? Or Maria? Or the kids?”
“No, I wouldn’t do it.” He shook his head and you could’ve sworn you saw tears in his eyes. “I said no.”
You were quiet as things began to click and you knew it reflected in your eyes as Billy’s expression changed.
“But you knew… You knew they were coming after my brother and that’s why we went out instead of me going with them.” You realized and the thick weight of betrayal slammed into your chest so hard you thought the bones would break. “How fucking dare you stand in front of me.”
“No, Y/N, please. Let me-“
“Let you what?” You cut in sharply and your hands tightened into fists at your side. “Let you explain? What is there to explain when you just admitted to knowing that your worthless fucking friends were gonna kill my family and you did nothing?” Your voice grew to a scream as you rambled.
His eyes shot to your hands and he took a step back from you.
“My niece and nephew, Billy!” You shouted. “They were kids! And Maria, she loved you. And you just let it happen.”
“I couldn’t do anything.” He spoke quietly.
“You’re kidding, right?” You laughed in disbelief. “You could’ve warned him!”
“He wouldn’t have believed me!” He reasoned.
“Y’know what.” You took a deep breath. “Just get out.”
“Y/N..”
“Aren’t you late for your interview?”
He opened his mouth to speak but the glare you gave him kept him quiet. Instead, he collected his things and went to leave.
“I didn’t want all this.” He called from the door. “It wasn’t supposed to end up this way.”
“Yeah, you worked so hard to keep it from me.” You countered. “Good luck when Frank finds out.”
The door closed soon after and you found your phone. You scrolled your contacts until Karen’s name popped up. You had met the woman when her friends were defending Frank in court and you two had stayed decent friends. You texted and said you had seen the news about Frank and asked if she could help you get in touch with him.
warnings: anything that has to do with the the people vs frank castle case, so murder, blood, gore, guns, you know the deal
a/n: this is like, mainly dialog, the descriptors are pretty weak just because this heavily relies on conversation. honestly, i always thought i’d do amazing in the writers room for a show or movie bc i rely on dialogue so fuckin much but i can never creatively write in descriptions.
prompt:
“I’d like to call y/n Castle to the stand.” Matt Murdock announced and the members of the courtroom began to murmur as you stood from your seat. With your head held high, you strode along the floor and ignore the cruel whispers that were made to shake you. You took a seat at the podium and ignored each pair of eyes staring through you.
“Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?” The deputy asked as you raised your right hand.
“Yes.” You bluntly answered.
“Will you please state your name for the record?” The blind lawyer asked of you.
“Y/N Castle.” You answered—almost bravely still using that name.
“And your relationship to the defendant?” Matt followed up.
“Oldest and only surviving child.” It was a hard fact to face, and saying it aloud was never easy. Your father had a hard time looking at you since the accident, but right now he was looking straight at you, wondering what could possibly be going through your head.
“Thank you, Mx. Castle.” The lawyer paced back and forth a few times. “I’d like to ask you a few personal questions if that’s okay with you.” You nodded out of instinct and realized your mistake.
“Yes, sir.” You confirmed to him and a half-smirk formed on his lips.
“I assume you learned your manners from Mr. Castle?” He said hypothetically as your dad smiled to himself. “Y/N, how do you feel about your dad’s recent activities?” The first personal question came to light and you held back a chuckle that connected you seamlessly to the man in custody.
“I have mixed feelings.” Another blunt answer given by the teen on the stand.
“How so?” Matt inquired.
“They were extreme, yes, but they might have also been necessary.” You said without hesitation, hesitation was one’s biggest enemy when on record. You looked over to Frank, who was obviously scoffing as he looked down at his steel desk he’d been chained to. “In the eyes of the law, it was murder. I can’t deny that fact, but has anyone stopped to imagine life through his eyes right now?”
“You think he’s angry.” His lawyer retorted.
“I think he’s ashamed.” Your answer caught your dad’s attention once more, he looked right up at you with a tight jaw, but you knew that he agreed with you completely. Most of the room had turned to him for a reaction, even the defense was a bit surprised by the answer.
“May I ask why you think that?” Matt calmly continued questioning and you prepared yourself for your story, one that may strike a chord with the members of the jury.
“I think back to the day I lost everything pretty often. I was thought to be the only surviving Castle for a while since my dad, Frank, was in a coma for so long,” you began to explain the story you’d been rehearsing for a while, before you had a clue that you’d be speaking for a courtroom, “how many of you can imagine what it’s like to be me, let alone my dad?” It sounded so much different for the crowd than it did for your mirror. “I’m alive because I wasn’t there and in some ways I feel guilty for it. I was at soccer practice, far away from the massacre. I don’t know how to describe the feeling of being called away from my team by cops to be told without remorse that my family is dead. My mother, my little brother and sister—then there was my father just hanging on by a thread. Not only did I lose my family, I lost my innocence, my hope, and my future.”
“I’m very sorry for the loss of your family, y/n. I think I see where you’re going with this, please continue.” Matt replied as you took your pause. A pause as a preventative measure for tears. Sure, they’d get you some sympathy, but you wanted to stay strong in front of all these people, you wouldn’t dare let them see you cry.
“My grandmother had to take me in since I had no one else to care for me. I’m only sixteen, I don’t have a lot of options.” You shrugged to yourself and leaned back in the chair, getting a bit more comfortable for the room. “But I visited my dad every day, no matter how much Grandma pleaded with me.”
“Your grandmother, is she your maternal or paternal grandmother?” Matt asked.
“Maternal. She was not doing too well with the news, either, obviously. She didn’t even want me coming here today. And she’s been begging me to change my name since the so-called ‘killing spree’ started.” You explained to the court. “We were both pretty shocked when my dad woke up.”
“Were you there?” Matt asked.
“I was there to say goodbye. He woke up after they took him off life support.” Images replayed in your mind. “He was a little out of it, had a hard time remembering what happened, but he recognized me. I had to fill him in on what happened.”
“Apologies for interrupting, y/n, but may we circle back to why you claim your father is ashamed of himself?” The lawyer asked, and you saw Frank shake his head. He knows you hate being interrupted.
“I think I answered that already, but I can do it more clearly. You know, for the record.” You leaned forward, closer to the microphone, and got to the point. “Frank Castle is a marine, right? It was his job to put his life on the line to protect others. Yet where it mattered most…he failed.” Frank gulped at your bold words, horrified by how true they were. “He can feel guilty for their deaths alone, but what about the life left behind. The one whose future was ripped away from them. He didn’t just want revenge for death, he wanted revenge for the loss of my life. The one I would have lived instead of the mess I found myself in. I was left alone. All the dreams I had seemed unimportant. I’d lie awake wondering if I’d ever see my father wake from his coma. I had to attend the funeral of my mother when I was just fifteen years old, before she was able to really guide me through life. I had to attend the funeral for my two younger siblings. The ones I held just after they were born and cried over just before they were buried. That wasn’t fair to me and who’s to blame?”
“Is there someone you blame, y/n?” Matt’s eyebrows raised, the counsel looked to you ask if they thought you were going to say your father, but there was nothing to blame him for. Nothing.
“Whoever pulled the trigger, obviously.” You and your dad made eye contact once more and you nodded at him. “My dad, he had the right idea, but it was executed poorly—sorry, poor choice of words.” You brought a smile to your dad’s battered face. “The men he killed, I’m aware they had families, and I don’t want anyone to suffer the way I had to, but they were still on the streets. The same streets that I walk on. The same streets your daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, husbands, and wives walk on. And you never know who’ll be hit next. At least with my dad, he had a code. Something like ‘an eye for an eye.’”
“So you’re saying that anyone who is innocent in the eyes of the law has nothing to worry about?” Matt tilted his head as he questioned.
“Maybe property damage as far as I’ve heard.” You nodded.
“Y/N, what do you plan on doing after high school?” The lawyer asked another personal question.
“I wanted to be a marine, but that guy in orange you got chained up over there told me there was no way.” You announced to the room.
“You want to follow in his footsteps?” He inquired.
“Is that a trick question?” You smiled.
“No tricks, I promise.” Matt replied.
“I wanted to be like my dad, yes. Always liked the way he stood up to bullies.” You continued on. “Although, he did assure me that if I enlisted, he’d bust at least one of my kneecaps to keep me safe.” You tried to be funny, but few laughed. Maybe a few chuckles from the back, and definitely one from Frank. Reminded him of better times. “For the record, he was joking. You don’t need to crucify him yet.”
“What was your second choice, y/n?” Mr. Murdock got you back on track.
“A law degree, but I’m starting to second guess that now.” You just couldn’t help yourself, these answers were getting too tempting.
“Sorry to hear that.” Matt smiled. “So, one last time: how do you feel about the actions of Frank Castle?” Once again, Frank looked right at you, tuning into this answer deeply, almost as if he valued your opinion more than anyone else’s not only in this room, but in this world.
“I want my dad back. Whatever pieces of him are left. His actions were not selfish, even if they were vengeful. He wanted to make this city safer, and maybe be did. I just wish that he would have grieved with me, maybe that way I wouldn’t have to worry about whether or not I’d ever be able to see my dad again without a pane of glass in between us.” You looked at your dad the entire time you were speaking, letting him know how hard it’s been on you, too. He knew he hadn’t been there for you. At all. He’d been off on his own on his righteous mission and only checked on you maybe twice, now he may never get a chance to make it up.
Summary: You get to go and visit Billy in the hospital.
Pairing: Castle!Reader (you) x Billy Russo
Words: 3k
Warnings: Hospitals, dirty talk, injuries, sus people, knives
AN: You guys can thank these two beauties for the fast update. @profoundme444 @musicalggirl They got me so hyped for this chapter that I had to write it out.
You spend the morning in a haze. Your thoughts dripped with excitement to see him, hold him and reassure yourself that he's still alive. You practically jump through the shower, although with your legs still very bruised up it's more of a hobble. You demand that Erica change your bandages faster, she’d done it twice now surely she could do it just a little quicker so you can get to the hospital even sooner. Erica seems to get why you're in such a hurry, but her frustration with your haste leaked into the way slammed your coffee cup onto the table, before she went to take a shower of her own. Her voice low as she muttered about spoiled kids, a nice warm shower and some alone time to calm herself down.
You open the folder and reassess the pictures, maybe you should make a scrapbook? After all these were the only pictures you had of your first few months with Billy, maybe you could give it to him as a gift? A private and intimate gift caught on film by a fucking stranger. The spreadsheets on the other hand, you knew you needed to ask him about. Folding them carefully you place them in your handbag, making sure to zip them securely in the middle pocket.
“OK babe's, I'm ready. You ready?” She asked, gathering up your things and taking your bag from you.
“Feeling better after your shower?”
“Heaps. But I'll be even better when I can finally get you to see Bill. So, you wanna get going?”
“Yeh, I'm so ready,” You answered excitedly, nearly vibrating out of your own skin.
“Taxi is on its way, you need help walking?” She said as she watched you struggle to maintain your balance.
“I'll be right, let's just go slow,” you said, carefully putting one foot in front of the other.
“Just take your time, we'll get there. It’s not like he can leave his bed in the meantime,” she reassured you as your hand met the railing of the stairs. This was going to suck, why had you thought a 3rd floor walkup would be a good idea? Erica took your free hand helping you every step of the way.
-X-
The hospital looms over you as you step out of the taxi and towards the doors.
“OK babe's, let's get this bread,” Erica said, throwing your bag over her shoulder and allowing you to walk alone. "Isaac said he's on the 4th floor,"
The bright lights flood into your eyes as you walk through the busy halls and make your way through the halls. No one stops you, but you can see the way some of the staff look at you. Analysing over your bandages and the shuffly way you're walking. But a small glare from Erica sends them on their way without a word, her intimidating stance fending off concerned glances like a guard dog.
"This is the ward," she said, gesturing to a seat near the door, "wait here and I'll go see what bed he's in, " she walked over to the nurses station and began talking with the nurse. Your hands fidget in your lap, your legs stinging as your foot twitches, your leg hops and the bruises on your thighs hitting the edge of the chair. You tried to focus on stopping when Erica reappears, "she said that they aren't letting people in to see him,"
“What? I need to, why?” you began to panic, why wouldn’t they? You had come all this way, you had to see him.
“Something about the investigation and his own personal safety,” she said, her arms moving as she spoke.
“Erica,” you said through gritted teeth, “we came all this way,”
“Babe's, I know. Trust me. I know,” her eyes bulging out as she leaned down to whisper in your ear, “I've got a plan.”
Lowering the zip on her leather jacket, Erica puckered her fresh lipstick on her lips, adjusting her cleavage and sending you a sultry wink before sauntering back over to the nurses station, leaving you behind with your bag. You just had to wait for her signal. You watched as she leant back over the counter, her bosom resting on the surface as she smiled at the nurse. Her finger twirling through her long blonde hair, a small giggle escaping her mouth, her leg kicked up and that was your signal..
You crept up behind her, making sure that your form was hidden behind Erica's as she flirted like a schoolgirl with the nurse. It wasn't as smooth going on your legs as you would've liked, but you managed to make it past the nurse and into the ward. You got excited all over again when you spotted Isaac standing outside one of the doors, that must be where he is. When Isaac’s eyes met yours he looked concerned, but gestured for you to come closer anyway.
“Hey,” he said, stopping you when your hand reached out to the door, “wasn't expecting you so soon. How you holding up?” He asked sincerely, his face falling a bit when he seemed to notice all the bandages on you.
“I'll be better if you let me in,” you said, taking the handle in hand.
“Just before you go in,” his voice soft when he spoke and you almost thought he was going to throw you out, until his hand came down softly on your shoulder, “he's pretty banned up so be gentle,” he laughed quietly, shaking his head at you.
“I'll try to keep it in my pants,” you rolled your eyes at him, clicking the door open and stepping through the threshold. Your eyes flicked to Derek who was seated next to Billy. Billy, he was leaning back in his bed, his eyes nearly dropping out of his head when you entered. He looked bad, bandages all over his face, both of his eyes were almost swollen shut, wires poking out of his skin, he looked like he'd had a castle dropped on him. But the pure joy that radiated from his beautiful smile was what had brought you here. You felt entranced by it, even if it had only been a few days. But the way he looked at you like you hung the moon was worth it. Derek on the other hand looked annoyed, his eyes glared between the tension and magnetic pull between you and Billy. “Here take my seat,” Derek said politely, standing and moving closer to you, “how are you doing?”
You ignored him, your feet taking you towards Billy instinctively as you rounded the bed and took his hand in yours. Your thumb gently stroking along the back of his hand, bringing it up to your lips and pressing into his palm.
“I'm gunna make a call,” Derek said, before exiting the room. The both of you are too engrossed with each other to really notice. Only glancing up when you saw him take Isaac by the arm before the door shut behind him and all your focus fell to Billy.
Billy's hand came up to travel along the marks on your face, “Hey little girl,” he cupped your jaw, leaning down to capture your lips in a kiss, “come up here,” he tugged on your face gently hoping to pull you up onto the bed with him. But you hesitated,
“Billy, I don't wanna hurt you,”
“You'll hurt me more if you keep sitting down there, lookin at me like that,” he tugged a bit harder, his thumb running along the bandage on your cheek.
Carefully as you could, you climbed onto the bed. Billy's arm coming around behind you to hug you tight into his arms. His face buried in your hair as he inhaled your shampoo and pressed kisses into your scalp. “Billy I-” you began, only to be cut off by his lips capturing yours in a feverish and needy kiss.
“Do not apologise,” he cooed, “none of this is you fault,”
“But-”
“You talking back to me?” He asked, raising an eyebrow at you. You shook your head keeping your mouth closed, your hands gliding along his chest where there were wires connected to him, “good girl” he held you tighter. Your eyes closed as you relished in his touch, his strong hands grazing along your soft skin “Look at me,” he lifted your chin, your eyes meeting his, “I'm sorry I broke my promise," he kissed you again softly this time, the kiss full of affection and regret. When you finally broke apart he leaned his chin on your head. The both of you are just enjoying once again being safe in the other's arms. Your thoughts drifted as you laid together and you remembered one of the reasons you were in such a rush to see him.
“There's something I wanted to ask,” you said looking up at him through your lashes
“Ask my anything,” his hand holding tightly to yours as you sat up leaning down to grab your purse. You sit back on the bed cross legged, your legs winding together as you leant back with the paper in hand.
“So, Erica and I found the folder Pa had and we found these,” you said, handing him the spreadsheets. You rest your head on his shoulder, watching him shuffle through the papers, “What is this?”
“How did he get these?” He asked, flicking through them, “Baby these are my bank statements,” he sounded genuinely confused, “they must've come from my home computer,”
“I don't know who got them. What we couldn't figure out was this,” you said pointing to the 3 headed dog, “or where all your money was going,” you asked, shuffling a bit closer to him, you were almost on top of him but it still wasn't close enough.
“This is an operation I was a part of,” he pointed at the dog, “and with the money, well it was gunna be a surprise.”
“Huh?” you asked, looking up into his face.
“It was for you,”
“What,” you interrupted him again, you thought he would be annoyed but he seemed genuinely amused.
“The money, I was putting it aside for you,”
“You what?”
“Well I thought maybe we could move away. You seemed to not want to tell anyone, so…”
“So you thought we could move away somewhere we could be together, Billy,” you pulled him down into a passionate kiss the both of you ignoring the pain. “You would leave New York for me? Mr Russo you're going soft,” You heard a growl rumble in his chest when you called him that.
“Little girl,” his voice deep in your ear, “do not tempt me,” his hand wandered down seizing into your ass, “I'm trying to be romantic,”
“It's working,” you said sweetly, nudging close to him, “where would we go?”
“Don't know, maybe Alaska. Somewhere remote where none would bother us. I would spend every day buried deep to inside my little girl,” he bit down on your lower lip.
“Billy,” you moaned quietly, squirming next to him. He knew what he was doing and you're sure he's doing it on purpose, “Isaac said-”
“Don't give a fuck what he said-” he moved quickly pressing his body over yours and into the mattress, his hands squeezing and tugging on your clothes, gliding all the way up your thigh as he licked and bit at your neck. Your hands holding onto his back and carding through his hair to hold him close to you.
“There was something else in the folder as well,” you voice almost breathless, your hand shoving quickly into the pocket of your bag. You needed to distract him and you weren't sure this would would help, but it was something, “Someone has been following us,” you said, handing him the picture.
“Seems like someone got quite the show,” he winked, “I’m keeping this with me,” he eyed the picture of you both bent over his couch. His free hand gripping harshly into your hip before he let out a deep sigh before kissing back into you.
“Billy stop, we can't do this here,” you said between kisses, halfheartedly trying to stop him.
“Sure we can, I'll show them just how much you mean to me, seems like someone else has already seen though,” he said, shoving the picture under his pillow so his other hand could hold your face close to his.
“Billy,” you pushed him softly and he fell to the bed defeatedly besides you, “maybe when you're better,”
“Who knows how long that will be,” he cooed, his lips still a breath away from yours, “promise to come back and see me again tomorrow?”
“I don't think I'm aloud,”
"Fuckin cops. I can't wait to get you alone, little girl.” his eyes determined while they traced the cuts along his face and you did the same to him.
“Babe's, we gotta go. The cops are coming back,” Erica said bursting into the room
“Erica, just the woman I needed to see, is it just the two of you who know about the folder?” Billy said, moving to sit next to you on the bed.
“Yeh?” she shrugged.
"Don't tell anyone else ok and keep your eyes open. If someone was following us, chances are they are still following you," she gave him a nod and you gave him a kiss,
"Call me tomorrow, if you can't come in ok?"
"I'll call you every day until you're home with me."
-X-
You were antsy all the way home and you weren't quite sure, the nurse discouraged you from visiting again on your way out. You pretended not to notice her hand Erica a slip of paper that you knew had her number written on it. Tears fell down your face as you walked from the hospital but Billy had told you to call him. So at least you would get to hear his voice everyday until he was released. it was better than nothing.
As you approached your building Erica filled you in on the tea that the nurse told her. Apparently she said that Billy would be cleared in a few days if he didn't have any issues, Derek had barely left his side. Only going out every couple of hours to make phone calls and a cute girl had been in a couple of times to bring the men food.
When you reached the door you spotted someone behind you. A camera in her hand, Erica seemed to notice her as well. The both of you sharing a nod as you shouted "Selfie" turning to take a picture of the pair of you, making sure she was framed in the background.
Hurrying as fast as you could, your legs feeling a bit better having seen Billy. You closed the apartment door behind you and sat down at the counter. "Wine babe's?" Erica asked, pouring herself a glass.
"But the drugs?"
"Eh you'll be fine, I'll make sure you don't OD. Now let's see that pic," she said pouring you your own glass.
"Who is she?"
"No idea, never seen her before," the woman was small, her dark hair and camera covering most of her face, "at least we know who to look for now"
"She's still there," you stood looking out the window you saw her so standing across the street who the fuck was this chick?
The next few days flew by, during the day Erica and yourself tried to figure out who the fuck this chick was. But you had no idea where to start, New York was a big place. Your nights you spent on video call with Billy, he told you stories from his youth that you hadn't heard yet and you told him about your dreams for your future together. On the second day he told you was being released tomorrow and wouldn't be able to go back to his apartment while they were still cleaning it up, so you had been given approval to pick him up and bring him home with you. You had to find out who this woman was and now. You didn't want him coming home and still being followed.
Thank fully you had spent the last few days with Erica making a plan to accost this woman.
"Erica, she's here," you said, spotting her on the sidewalk, you had mostly healed up now, only the bruises and scabs being left. Your walking was a lot better, thank fuck because that was what your whole plan was riding on.
You step onto the street, your dress flowing in the breeze as you bring your phone up reapplying your chap stick in your front facing camera to watch behind you. You see her following you, not too close but as you turn a corner you know she's following you. Her pace slowing when she headed down the dark alley. Turning into the door Erica had marked you stop next to the door and wait for the woman to walk through the door.
The door opens and you pull a knife from your sleeve pointing it at the person's throat only for Erica to throw her arms up, "Babe's, babe.! It's me. Don't stab! don't stab," she laughed, quickly disarming you and pointing the knife back at you.
"Erica," you said, narrowing your eyes at her in shock.
"Kidding," she said, throwing the knife in the other direction. You hear a thud and a cry of surprise, "got her," she whispered smugly at you.
"Show off," you scoffed at her.
"Let's go see what I caught!" She smiles, slipping towards the wall where her knife was lodged.
You both approach the woman, her dark hair falling over her eyes while a feral snarl in on her lips as she ripped the knife from the wall.
"This is my favourite jacket," her voice deep and annoyed, she throws the knife on the ground and it clatters as it skates away.
"Who are you?" You asked, in your most menacing voice,
"Babe's, you sound like a kitten in a corner, allow me," She said turning from you towards her "Who the fuck are you?" Erica snarled at her. pulling the gun from the back of her jeans
The woman shrugged, her fingers poking at the hole in her jacket with an annoyed look on her face. She seemed more annoyed that you had ruined her jacket, than that you had accosted her in a warehouse. With a sigh she looked back at you both with a glare, "Jessica Jones, you're going to pay to have this fixed."
~Can i get a Frank castle imagine where you remind him of his daughter and one day you accidentally call him dad and in the midst of you freaking out about it he hugs you really tight~
I hope you like it! I’m not too happy with the end but I couldn’t get something quite right. Let me know what you think!
❦ old masterlist

To say the least, Frank Castle wasn’t a perfect man. He was, especially in his own eyes, far from perfect. But, he was exactly what you needed in that time. Your life had somehow led you to looking up to Frank as the only father figure you had ever known.
How you even met him seemed to be a blur at this point, though you had only known each other for about two years. All either of you knew was that you had to stick together. Frank could keep you safe from the danger that often seemed to come your way. You couldn’t quite figure out what you had to offer him in return, but he insisted that you staying alive was reward enough. Truthfully you didn’t put much thought into it, you were just happy you were able to stay with him.
“Alright, kid, you’ve got Park Place and Boardwalk, how am I supposed to win?” Frank ran a hand through his hair, clearly frustrated with his situation.
You grinned, crossing your arms over your chest, “That’s your problem. Besides, just because I have just those two doesn’t mean I’ll win.”
He laughed at your response knowing that you were technically right. Friday nights were game nights, a tradition that might be short lived, according to Frank, if he kept losing. He picked Monopoly to play for that night and was beginning to regret that as well.
Neither of you had been able to feel so relaxed in quite some time, always on the run. Frank decided it was time to stop. Time to get a place to live, for the both of you, and just live a normal life. It was all he ever wanted for you and all you wanted for him. You were both living in a safe moment of life together, suddenly finding joys in betting one another in a game of jenga or whatever.
Checking the time, Frank let out a sigh of relief. “We gotta put the game on pause, I have to go out for a bit tonight.”
“Tonight, really?” You groaned, “But it’s game night!”
He stood, “I know, but this can’t wait. Promise to finish letting you kick my ass when I get back?”
A mischievous smile spread across your face as you thought of having another victory. While you wished you could finish the game now, you knew it would have to wait. Frank was trying to get out of his old work, trying to make a better and more stable life for you. It was a slow process because he wanted to do it right and be sure that all ends were tied so neither of you would ever have to look back.
“I’m holding you to that,” you leaned back on the couch.
“I don’t doubt it,” he pulled his boots on and began lacing them. “Can’t believe I have to come back to my own home knowing I’m gonna get my butt kicked.”
“I can,” you grinned.
Frank finished tying up his boot, eyes landing on you as if he was going to take your words as a challenge.
“Y’know what? I shouldn’t have to take your crap,” he joked with a smile.
You were trying your hardest to hold back your laughter, even biting your lip to hide your smile. It was all just to poke fun, you both knew.
“And yet,” you began.
“You really gonna keep giving me crap? I haven’t even left yet,” He slipped his coat on, shaking his head at you.
“It is what it is. I don’t make the rules,” you shrugged, “sorry, Dad.”
Frank froze, his back faced towards you and his hand resting on the doorknob. You could feel your heart cave as you processed what you said. Had you actually said that? Out loud? Sure, you had considered saying it before but always decided it was probably a step too far. You knew Frank cared about you, but you also knew what he had been through with his family.
He was still healing, little by little. And he would be lying if he said you hadn’t helped him heal, whether that was intentional or not. The two of you had been through a lot together, especially considering you had only known each other for a few years. You knew the things the other had seen, you knew each other’s pain.
“I’m so sorry,” you sat up, putting your feet to the floor. “I didn’t mean— it just slipped out.”
Frank remained still. The tips of his fingers slowly slid off the doorknob, leaving his hand to hang by his side. His reaction, or lack there of, put a knot into your stomach. Was he mad? Was it upsetting for him to hear?
“Frank, I,” you stood, “it was just...”
You made your way to him and put your hand on his shoulder to turn him. He wasn’t as stiff as usual. His typical upright and defensive-like posture seemed to soften, his face too as he was processing the name. If anything, it made you panic more. He seemed upset, possibly angry at your actions.
“I-“ you pulled your hand away, “I.. it just kind of came out, I’m really sorry. It was so stu—“
Before you were able to finish Frank pulled you into his arms, shocking and confusing you more. So he wasn’t mad.
“Don’t worry about it, kid.” He hugged you closer and squeezed his eyes shut.
You decided it was nice, letting yourself soften as well. All either of you could do in the moment was hold on tighter. You had hugged before, usually only after Frank had saved you. Even then you had only hugged twice, because you both thought you came too close to losing one another.
“I, uh,” he stepped out of the hug, “I just wasn’t expecting that.”
You tangled your arms around yourself, taking a step back as well. “Yeah, no. I guess it just kind of slipped out.” He glanced down as you softly spoke, “I mean, that doesn’t mean I didn’t wanna say it.”
His eyes briefly looked back at you, a small smile forming. Words couldn’t describe how much you saying that meant to him, no words he knew at least. Your heart was pounding, nerves on end as you practically exposed yourself.
“Y’know,” he cleared his throat. “I don’t think I’ll go out tonight. Family’s more important.”
Your face beamed, “Family?”
“Yeah, that’s what we’re becoming, isn’t it?” He shifted awkwardly, slowly taking his coat off.
You were at a loss of words, just nodding in response. Neither you nor Frank were good at talking through moments like this. Both of you just seemed to read one another so well, and were able to use few words to get your point across, nothing much needed to be said.
It was strange, but exciting. It didn’t seem new, it was like you both knew you were family practically since the day you met. At the very least, you both knew there was always a possibility it would occur. To realize that it finally had happened, though, was heart warming.
“Sooo,” you leaned on the heels of your feet. “You aren’t going out which means I get to beat your ass at Monopoly now.”
Frank laughed, “Yeah, no. I don’t think so.”
“Oh, so now you think you can beat me?” You grinned.
He raised a brow, crossing his arms. “Nope, I know I can. C’mon, let’s get your funeral over with,” he walked back towards the game.
It was nice that things were able to slip right back into normalcy. You were glad it didn’t have to be awkward, that he seemed to be happy about the incident. He was holding a smile bigger than you had seen before, maybe because he seemed so eager to beat you at Monopoly though.
“I think it’s you’re funeral we’ll be attending.” You held up your properties with a grin, “I’m buying hotels.”
“Hmm,” he closed his eyes in defeat. “Games not over yet, kid. Just you wait.”

{Part 7}
Your first two weeks of working at ANVIL flew by, you made yourself acquainted with the layout of the office, the very few staff that remained in the building most of the time. You were enjoying it, sure it wasn’t exactly what you thought it would be, but you were finding joy in it regardless. Even if dating the boss in secret is the main perk. Everyday Rachel the head of recruitment brought in a few new recruits most of them were kind enough, listening and taking your directions. Some were prone to distraction, but Billy encouraged the distractions, saying that he cannot have guards who aren’t focused.
“Ah, Miss Castle,” Billy said as you entered his office. All of the recruits you had met so far were on the younger side, making them a lot easier to train. You eyed the young man who was currently sitting across from Billy, he was big. Like one of those farm bred boys you'd seen on the internet, but after two weeks of non stop military men and women you were hardly intimidated. Especially since you had grown up with one in your home and currently had one in your bed most nights, "This is Jake miller, Jake this is Miss Castle, She'll be instructing you on our reports process."
The young man turned to you, his blue eyes dancing up the tight skirt and the pink blouse that sat loosely on your upper half. You watched as Billy glared at the young man whose eyes stopped on your ass. “Right well let's get started then,” you extended your hand for him to shake, he just sat staring at you, “I'm just down the hall, follow me,” you instructed him, turning to head down to your office.
“Take a seat,” you said, offering the large man the seat across from your desk, "if you just give me one second," you turned reaching up to turn the projector on, your skirt riding up your legs. You winked up at the camera in the corner of the room, knowing that this was a major part of Billy's process. He needed to see just how easily they were distracted and boy did he love to watch you work.
“This is the report,” you said pointing at the wall, “it should only take a few minutes for you to complete once we have gone through this process and pre-filled the details for you, then after an assignment all you will need to do is complete any details that are specific to that assignment,” You watched his eyes glaze over as he filled out the report. Only shifting focus when you sat on the desk, peering over your shoulder at him and gave him a small smile which he returned.
“Ma'm I have a question,” he spoke up, his eyes were way too focused on your eyes, like he was trying very hard not to look elsewhere, like your cleavage that was threatening to tip out of your blouse.
“Sure, what is it?” you said, standing and adjusting your jacket.
“Mr Russo, what's he like to work for?”
“Diligent, fair and uncompromising. He'll do his best to back you up, provided you don't cross him.” you said honestly, it was a fair question and you were surprised this guy was the first to ask it.
“Thank you for your honesty ma'm.”
“Your welcome," you see that he's almost done with the prefilling of his details, "Right, now onto the last few things," you walked him through the process, all the things he needed to include and some things he should definitely exclude, if he needed to. undocumented details to keep himself and the company safe from lawsuits. He watched you carefully, his eyes constantly flowing up and down your body, like he was trying to figure out how he would either kill you or fuck you. Probably both.
“Ok, this is the last thing. You need to watch this video,” you handed him a piece of paper, listing details that would need to be noted and remembered on a job, “these are the things you need to be looking out for on assignment,” you told him, pointing the items on the list out to him, “So just list them here, while your watching and I’ll pass you back to Mr Russo,” You said paying the video, you leaned back taking your jacket off and hanging it on your chair. You sat back down on the desk, making sure that your skirt was riding high on your thigh, the garters of your stoking showing when you smiled seductively over your shoulder at him. To no one's surprise he was still watching you, not paying any attention to the video. “Well, that's the end of the video, let me see how you went,” you winked at him, taking the paper from in front of him. Idiot, he did not even get one right. Even some of the more oblivious ones had managed to guess the amount of cameras or the amount of assailants. He was definitely too easily distracted.
“Well, that's it for today,” you smiled, at him knowing there was no way Billy would keep him on, “You just let me know if you need anymore help Mr Miller,” making your way around the desk to shake his hand, like the polite young woman that you totally are.
“I'm sure I could think of other ways you could help me,” he said, in what you assumed he thought was a seductive tone. He took your extended hand and yanked you closer to him. His hand wrapping around you to grab your ass. Not noticing the small smirk you gave to Billy through the camera. You ripped his hand off you before snapping it onto the desk. Sure your few training days with Billy had been mostly sex, but not all. He did train you, trained you in ways your father never wanted to or could. Sure Frank had taught you to throw a punch and to aim a taser, but Billy… what he taught you was much more satisfying.
“No thank you Mr Miller,” you smiled politely at him, anger bleeding through your veins at the audacity of this fucker, “and I'll remind you not to touch things that don’t belong to you,” you chided him with your index finger, doing your best to keep that smile on your face, while your legs shook with rage.
“You crazy bitch! You broke my fingers!” he shouted when he lunged at you. But you ducked just in time, managing to guide his head into the edge of your desk. You hate to admit it, but you enjoyed the sound of his nose cracking against the hard wood.
“It's just a scratch,” you lied, your smile turning to a grimace when you saw his bloody nose, you extended your arm to the door for him to exit.
“Who the fuck are you?” he shouted, his hand holding the bridge of his nose as blood dripped from it.
“Who me?” You said innocently, “Not really any of your business,” you snarked, opening the door for him, only to find a seething Billy behind it. You saw the small hidden smile in his eyes when he saw Mr Miller's broken nose.
“Out, Now Mr Miller,” His voice was stern and calm, but the power that he exuded in the moment nearly had you melting. “Maybe this will teach you to respect a ladies space,” his eyes narrowed at him.
“Mr Russo this crazy bitch-” he was cut off by Billy grabbing his shirt and flinging him out the door. Slamming it shut behind him.
Billy's face lit up as he took you in, the hungry possessive look in his eyes. But you were still holding in your anger from the altercation. “Aww little girl,” he cooed, taking your face in his hands, “did the bad man touch you?” He stepped closer, removing the gap between you, “Want Daddy to make it all better?”
“No, I made it better. Did fucking you see me? See how I bloody got him?” You said, the anger finally weaving its way through your voice. God, to go to all that trouble for him to not even see?
“You’re so cute when you're angry,” he kissed gently on your forehead, soothing the lines on your brow. He'd been trying to get a rise out of you all week. Probably the reason he gave you the job of trying to distract the men, hoping one would fall to temptation. You wouldn't fall for it, you were- “such a delicate little thing.”
“Fuck you,” you spat, “I ain't delicate,” you shoved him but his arms were trapping you to him, “I’m tough,” you wriggled, “I'm Frank fucking Castles daughter,” he lifted you up your feet dangling as you tried to kick him, “I'm- I'm -” he cut you off with a fierce kiss as he pressed you body into the wall. His hands snaking under your ass to hold you up, his teeth nipping at your neck. Angry pants began escaping your lips.
“Your mine,” he growled in your ear, sending shivers through your whole body, “wanna fight me on that little girl?”
“You don't own me,” you snarled, setting a death glare on his eyes, your heart racing and head spinning about how this might end.
“That contract you signed says I do,” he smirked. You blinked at him, confused, all you saw in it was work things, “can't figure it out? And I thought you were a smart girl,” he tutted at you. Your eyes narrowed at him, his demanding eyes leveled with yours and you felt yourself begin to submit.
“You gunna behave?” He asked, peering down his nose at you
“Ye-” you whispered
“Speak up,” he ordered, squeezing you tighter
“Yes daddy,” you smiled innocently. This mother fucker, how could he have such control over you? You loved it, relished it the possessive way he needed you. But hell if you weren't going to push. He smiled down at your submission, planting your feet back on the floor, but not moving back. A self satisfied smirk fell across his face and you wanted to kill him.
“Don’t be smug,” you pulled back, you balled your fist together ready to slam into his face.
“Check that attitude Missy,” he laughed, catching your fist in his hand, “your gunna hurt someone with that,” he kissed your hand staring deep into your eyes, “Can't have these deadly weapons hurting Daddy,” Billy teased taking your other hand and spinning you into the wall. “You gunna behave now?” He growled, grinding his hard cock into into your ass, taking both of your wrists in his one. You feel his hands move behind you and the clink of his belt, the smooth delicate of the leather as it wraps around your wrists.
“Bill-” you began to whine, but he turned your head, biting down on your lip. “Daddy,” you whined and he smiled into your kiss, his hands now free to pull down your panties and palm your ass before slipping into your dripping core.
“Fuck, little girl, always so wet for me,” his hand gliding along your silken folds, stopping to rub at your clit in slow tortuous circles, “you did such a good job today,” his thumb remained while two of his fingers delved into your cavern, “won't have men so easily distracted on my pay roll,” he ground his dick in-between your covered ass cheeks, “think you deserve a reward in spite of your behavior?” He asked, biting down on your earlobe. You didn't hesitate to nod your body arching into his when his finger slipped deep inside you, your orgasm washing over in a sharp wave as he pressed you into the wall.
Billy unzipped your tight skirt, sliding it down your thighs. His fingers grazing gently down the backs on your legs, his strong hands palming your ass, when he slid into you, “Always so perfect for me little girl,” he praised you and you just moaned in response, “Watching you break that idiots fingers, had me so hard,” he pressed in harder, “So fucking hot,” he kept his pace as his fingers wrapped around your clit, “Love watching you work,” he nibbled on your neck and you could feel another orgasm approaching, “Such a fierce little brat aren't you,” he bit down, growling into shoulder.
“Don’t stop Daddy, or I’ll break your nose,” you pleaded, you were almost there you just needed.
“Fuck, don’t tease me,” Billy growled, his thrusts becoming harder, pressing your face into the wall.
“You want to bleed all over me Daddy? Cover me in your blood?” you moaned, not really sure where this was coming from, but from the way he sped up, you knew he was loving it, “Wanna cover me in the blood of your enemies? Show them- OhHh- all who I belong to?” his hands scratched down your legs, his nails digging into your thighs. The little jolt of pain sending you over the edge, you cried his name, his hard cock still driving into him as your pussy clenched around him.
“Fuck, little girl. So good for Daddy,” he cried as he spurt his hot seed inside you, his teeth latching onto your shoulder to muffle his moans while your tight little pussy milked his cock.
He stayed there, leaning over you and pulling your back flush to his chest so he could take your lips in his. “You feel better now?” he asked, stepping back and placing his softening cock back in his pants. He lifted your skirt from the ground and helped you step back into it.
“Yeah, much,” you sighed, not sure if he was going to say anything about what you said.
“Sex always help me redirect my anger,” he stated, zipping you back up, “Blood of my enemies?”
“Yeah, I dunno where that came from,” you said, covering your face with your hands, embarrassment washing over you. But Billy wasn’t having it, gently he removed them from your face.
“Don’t be all shy now, you know I liked it,” he winked at you.
