LENORE FANART
The duo I made up
Castlevania
Season 1: July 7 2017
Season 2: October 26 2018
Season 3: March 5 2020 - May 26 2026
Season 4: May 26 2026
Does anyone else find it odd that people will say Maria being with Alucard despite her being a teen “makes sense because of the lore” but then they stay silent that Hector had a wife who was executed and likes Isaac’s sister yet those two never showed up in the Netflix series or even once been mentioned
Instead the fandom prefers Hector’s rapist than those two
Who’d win in a fight
Penguins of Madagascar (Madagascar)
The Council of Sisters (Castlevania)
Tumblr gets a quick update on my Lenore wig because this has to be my soul site so far
I'm loving to see the fandoms I'm part of aren't entirely dead ,XD
Anyways
Wig took me like 3 days to finish so this shoot was dedicated to this wig specifically and I PROMISE it's the last Lenore batch I'm posting for now ,XD
You do get that this is not actually bad, right?
Okay, Castlevania fandom. I do want to talk about something. Because: Yes. I do get that a lot of people do not like season 3 as much, because it most certainly is not a feel good season of animation, with everyone but Isaac ending the season in a worse place than they started. But given that like every other week I see a post on how season 3 episode 9 is "THE WORST EPISODE" in the show... You get that it isn't right? This is just hyperbole talking, right? Right?
Again, I get not liking it. However, that does not change the fact that it is well written and executed. We can agree on that, I hope. Like, it is very well understandable why every character is acting the way they are acting. We get that well established. It is well thought out.
I can understand that to some people this was too dark. Especially with every single plot having a dark twist (with the exception of Isaac's story). I do understand somewhat the critique with the Judge-twist coming out of nowhere. While I would argue, that the show definitely used a lot of visual language to show clearly that the guy was up to no good, I understand at least that folks wanted him to be somewhat not as evil as he turned out to be. Like, the ending of the Lindenfeld story would have been dark enough without the serial killer reveal. I understand that much.
But I do also think that the main other betrayels - both the Taka and Sumi, and the Lenore one - being rather well set up.
I still know that I am in the absolute minority of people who actually like Taka and Sumi. Because knowing just stuff about Japanese history and how that would have influenced their story, I absolutely get why they are acting the way they are acting. And I do think this fits very well with the theme of the show, on how people who have been abused will eventually abuse others. Hurt people hurt people, and so on.
And Lenore kinda goes into the same thing. She is another very hurt person, who will see herself validated in hurting others.
Really. I do not quite get... Why people call this "bad". Again, I can see calling it "dark" and "unpleasant". But it was very well written and executed. Nothing but respect for the Castlevania crew on this.
