"what goth brands do you wear?" Charity Shops, mate. Pre-owned and pre-loved, now getting remixed by yours truly 😎
For those mentioning that I'm slim and therefore it's easier for me to dress like this - I gained a shit load of weight in 2 years and guess what! I still dress like this/wear these outfits, and I still buy every single item of clothing second hand. Do my outfits look the same as they do in these photos? Nope! But the entire point of alternative fashion is to wear whatever and without fashion norms in mind. I wear more long skirts now (something I weirdly never had the confidence to wear until recently, idk why), I mix them with crop tops even though I don't have a flat stomach (shocking, I know!!), I still wear tights as tops and chopped up t-shirts with safety pins keeping them together. I wear clothes that obviously used to belong to old dudes or even "live laugh love" mums. I still wear generally ill-fitting clothes and I make it work. If you're comfortable in it, that's all that matters - I don't put an outfit together in the hopes it makes me look like a runway model, I put an outfit together thinking "do I like this and does wearing this make me feel good?" And go from there.
Only downside to me gaining weight so far has been me not being able to fit into my crust pants - I'm tempted to sew panels of stretchy material onto the inner and outer seams to make them fit again. They're the item of clothing I spent the most time on, and that's literally the only reason why I'm getting precious about them 🥴
