Do you have any thoughts or new headcanons based on the recent Chrysos Restaurant event? For some reason I now have it in my head that that's what Phainon dreams about in between cycles, if that makes sense. Even if he doesn't know it.

i adored the event, it was probably my favorite storyline since 3.3. i missed anaphai and castophai SO BAD i was so happy they both got so many crumbs. also people online were making fun of phainon before the event even came out but who's laughing now he's considered a great cook in universe AND they're his mother's recipes 😤 never insult my baby again i'm kissing the chef he can do anything 😤

i DID have one thought and predictably it was about tribbie... it was so so cute when they played the we're three people card and you can absolutely tell from phainon's reaction that they've done this before :PhainonDESPAIR: i bet they're always outvoting him to make him go to sleep or stop overworking himself. his teachers... he can never win against the three of them but somehow it doesn't feel so bad losing...

i also think phainon secretly sneaks into the kitchen with castorice at night and lets her cook and eats her dishes and never complains even though she can tell when she's messed them up because he screws up his cute little face through his compliments. she's better at baking than cooking. precision over instinct. but sometimes even being overly precise takes away from the humanity of variation... anyway phainon is always patient and they have so much fun swapping places at night with her as chef in training and him as food critic.

and i think phainon should get to have a post traumatic episode when he accidentally burns something and the smoke makes him have a panic attack and mydei rushes over and puts the fire out and pulls him out of the smoke and asks him what's going on but phainon can't even say because he doesn't even know because that trauma hasn't happened in this world. or has it.

and i think we all knew what anaxa meant when he was like i'm in a bad mood where's phainon it's time for another lesson
