so heres castor. whole reason he even dipped out of leaving freeside was bc he went and got himself all tied up with the kings.

once archie fell off one of the collapsed overpasses in freeside. he had scaled it to the highest part and peered over and was calling for castor to look at him. he wasnt rly listening when castor told him to climb down and he tried to look over the edge just a little more and ended up slipping.

cracked his head on the pavement and the shock kept him from screaming out. castor hauled him onto his back [ despite being two years younger hes pretty strong. and also about eight inches taller ] and booked it to the old mormon fort cuz he knew doctors were there since castors twin sister ada was there being trained as a follower.

eventually the shock/adrenaline wore off and there was a lot of crying. archie has a scar on the top of his head that hides by parting his hair specifically so it covers it
