DoE Beauty Pageant
8. Dale Gordon -- Art by Plustina
The creators of the TV show went super overboard while designing Dale's ponytail, and the result was absolutely adorable. In fan art, we generally get to see her looking more pleasant than she was during her introduction, which enhances her allure.
7. Castra -- Art by Plustina
Another woman who generally sports a long ponytail and a nice grin. This royal has a simple cuteness that everyone loves.
6. Veena Dark -- Art by Neldorwen
A raven-haired beauty with mysterious expressions. In general, she looks somewhat reserved, and curious too. The bangs are perfect for her, and so are the big, pink lips. Though Veena was designed to have a somewhat exotic, detached appearance, she lets her guard down around her mother, displaying an affection that makes her shine even more.
5. Zorelda -- Art by Zetarok and Katzueki
Zorelda always stood out in the TV series. She had a lovely, intriguing appearance, which was replicated and refined in fan art.
4. Hadea -- Art by Neldorwen
"The most alluring and elegant woman in the galaxy."
I'm paraphrasing. I don't have the direct production quote, but I've seen several interviews with the TV creators, even chatted with one, and this is the kind of description that they were likely given when tasked with designing Hadea.
It's pretty clear that a lot of care went into their effort. They apparently crafted her twice. Due to an animation error or two, you'll sometimes spot her wearing what might have been her original outfit: a bright white dress with a long gold cape.
Then, it seems, the producers decided that less was more. They ditched the bright dress, ditched the cape, and, it appears, ditched her shoes.
The final result? The Golden Queen is just that -- golden. You've got to love those long locks, the thin eyebrows, the slender nose, and the confident stares. Hadea doesn't need special clothes, because her beauty stands out. Accordingly, she sports a simple garment, with a single shoulder strap, and dons a rather plain tiara as well. She walks barefoot all throughout the day; she has the right to feel comfortable anywhere. Lastly, she looks a bit paler than usual, just to complement her exotic origin.
Some call her the greatest DoE character, and she certainly has a great design as well.
3. Amy O'Connor -- Art by Neldorwen
Hands down, the most adorable character illustrated for DoE fan art. Do we really need an explanation? Those bangs. Those lips. That super lovely smile. Those big, gray eyes and those cute eyebrows. You've really got to love the wavy hair as well.
2. Jedda Walker -- Art by Neldorwen
A legendary beauty. The legendary beauty. The illustrators of DoE really knew what they were doing when they crafted Jedda's look. Well, kind of. It seems that they couldn't always make their minds up. Sometimes she has black hair. Sometimes she has brown hair. Maybe they should've told us that she dyes it now and then. In any case, her green eyes, short locks, and cute smile have captivated many fans.
1. Tori Gordon -- Art by Plustina, Neldorwen, Katzueki, and Zetarok
The beauty queen! Designed originally by artist Neldorwen, Victoria Gordon is obviously the most beautiful character in DoE artwork and storytelling. She's got everything that people find alluring in the others -- the cute smile, the nice eyes, the lengthy locks, and the fascinating expressions. The tone of her hair is actually a blend of Hadea's, Jedda's, and Castra's, and she can wear it in any style. All colors look good on her -- blue, black, pink, green, and leopard-print. Basically, Tori grew up and became the smartest girl in the world, and one of the most stunning too.

To reach this level of voice, in the past, young singers were castrated. Now a balloon of Helium is enough... Traditions are lost
Please turn on the sound.

castra is the animated version of deanoru
will not accept criticism
Okay but why did the show do castra so dirty She’s arguably one of the best designed characters in the show and yet i believe she only appears in this one brief scene (not counting the drama cd)
sad for castra
