Dabi one day before meeting up with Hawks gets hit by a quirk that gives people cat features like tails,ears, and tiny sharp canine teeth. On top of that being hit with this quirk could also influence your behavior. Once Hawks arrives he is not sure why there a low rumble in his chest and tail lazily swishing side to side. His pupils had blown wide with a thin visible blue ring around them. Hawks on the other hand is terrified of cats. He is a bird after all. The entire week was spent by Dabi trying to rub his face on Hawks and get ear scratches and Hawks actively avoiding Dabi out of fear. During meet up with the League Dabi would his at anyone who got to close to Hawks. He wouldn't let anyone else touch him but would nudge Hawks waiting for some kind of contact. Until Dabi lays fully on top of Hawks lap refusing to leave no matter how much Hawks tried to push him off. His wings puffed up in defense. Dabi's tail happily swishes side to side, his face softly rubs against Hawks surprisingly soft thighs. Purrs escaping from his throat that would only grow louder as a shaking hand threaded itself into his hair lightly scratching behind his ears. The next day Hawks is relieved that Dabi is back to normal but that doesn't explain why Dabi is still territorial around him or why Dabi continuously tries to touch him. Weird huh.
