We seriously need to get this cat chasing and dog training under control.
Keira and Spencer cornered Jasper today and like, pawed him to death. They seem like they only want to play, but seriously, the poor cat was covered in drool and terrified. And I don't know what they'd do if the cat was unable to get away, or if someone wasn't there to stop them. It's kind of everyone's faults; the dogs don't listen at all when they see the cats, the cats refused to come out at all, even when the puppies were little and we were trying to train them, and I didn't take the time to carry the cats (and their claws) our and make them meet the dogs. You'd think I'd know how to handle this, but this isn't something that they teach us, and I can't find anything useful online. They're learning how to hunt as a pack and they tag team everything, so I'm worried next time it's going to be one of my cats. I can't even think of moving to Chicago with Keira and Spencer, but not Scout and Jasper. They're my kittens, I've had them since they were 4 weeks old.
Does anyone have any experience with this, any suggestions for me? Anything would help.
