I had started this a couple of days and wanted to get it done. About Palakitty Pidge, a bit of her people, and even her planet! And yes, it’s called Balto, reference to DotU and I think Voltron Force, but rather than being from a technologically advanced or ninja filled planet, it’s a small, Earth-like planet of tiny cat people.  Anyway, this was fun to work on, especially the notes given by different characters. I especially had Coran’s voice in my head during this. At some spots, I admit I actually forgot what I was originally going to write. Oops. Also! It was tricky coming up with different appearances, but it was so fun drawing the different Baltoans. So many cuties! And so small! 

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this piece. I don’t know if the palakitty au will be written or not, but for now, this was fun and worth it.  Well! Until next time!

Shenanigans with @the-vegetarian-artist  she drew the first pic with all the voltron stuff originally while playing with my tablet, and then I redrew Cat Pidge just because

My brain wasn’t working in thinking for anything else. So, I ended up looking up Lord of the Rings stuff and this banter between Gimli and Legalos stood out. So I had to with palakitty Pidge.  It took a moment to figure out who should make the remark, but Allura ended up being perfect for the roll.

You know, while one part of my brain loves the Princess Mononoke aspect of riding on a wolf’s back, palakitty Pidge is more like Midna from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I can see Lance referring to her as such or an imp or something along those lines to make that reference. Anyway! I committed a crime. I hadn’t drawn palakitty Pidge with Kosmo. I know, blasphemous. But! Here we have them now! Pidge sitting on his back! @rueitae​ had asked if palakitty Pidge had ever seen a dog/wolf when she saw the WIP yesterday. I didn’t think so other than probably in books or if there were such predators on her planet.  With that in mind? Well, not every meeting goes the best.

She looks more terrified than aggressive.  But at least she comes to not mind Kosmo. If anything, she probably thinks he’s warm and soft, the perfect friend to sleep on. 

Anyway! I hope y’all enjoy these arts! This definitely fills my love of Pidge being so small and the love of riding on a giant wolf’s back. Huzzah! Until next time!

Pidge, as a palakitty, probably steals everyone’s clothes at times, snuggling up in them.  I never actually had a cat steal my clothes, but one cat loved my laundry basket because the clothes smelled like me. And he always chose my stuff to lay on as opposed to my siblings’.  Anyway! Pidge has Shiro’s vest, Keith’s jacket, and Lance’s shirt. In due time, she’ll probably take everyone else’s stuff, too.  I hope she doesn’t shed.  And I don’t think anyone’s upset.

Lance especially is adoring this.  And we’re especially enjoying Lance.

I keep telling myself to draw Pidge, Chip, and Shorty as triplets and together. But I tend to lack ideas. However, I did manage to come up with something for the palakitty AU.  I love that Pidge and Shorty are practically identical, only their hair differing slightly. And it’s cute drawing Shorty without glasses, though he probably wears them at times to look like Chip; their parents probably refuse to let Pidge wear them, too, so that they can tell her from Shorty. They also probably made sure their outfits differed slightly, though they probably swap from time to time.  Anyway! I was so happy that I could figure out drawing for the triplets! Especially in the forest. They’re probably on Balto for this.
