Here is a collection of the enrichment that I currently have for my cat Stockings. He is all indoors but used to be a stray, so I am working very hard to provide him more than enough stimulation and physical activity to be happy and healthy indoors, as well as to give him places off of the floor and away from my dog Brownie.
For other enrichment he has a tiny Kong, one of those combo cardboard scratchers and ball tracks, and a slow feeder bowl. Either my mom or I plays with his once daily, and we are working on increasing that, as he doesnt play on his own that we know of, only with wand toys.
Any advice or fun ideas on ways to keep cats entertained and exploring throughout the day would be much appreciated. I will post updates about the cat tree construction as it gets moving.
It’s moveable like a shelf but if I move it higher than the one where the cats sits in, cats can’t get in :( Also I still has some clipping issues but I’ll fix them if I can figure out the other problem.
So, Gillion has had various run-ins with "evil versions of himself" (one in Chip's nightmare sequence, one in the simulation when he was in the Luxbris Pearl, and, of course, Dopple-Gilly). It's been pretty significant all of those times, both narratively and to Gillion himself, as he's said it's a dream of his to fight the evil version of him.
Now he's met the evil version of his sister. Someone he has never truly thought of in a negative light. Someone he has always trusted, and wanted to see again. Someone he probably never considered as *having* an evil version, even when he believed so strongly in Good and Evil. How messed up is that? This other side of his life, now playing into that fantasy he talked about oh so long ago? But it's wrong, because it means fighting someone that is, on some level, his sister. Who he has always wanted to protect, who has always protected him.
When you think you are the Good side of a coin, and fighting an Evil version of yourself is one thing--but this is Edyn. Never in a million (gillion) years.
