A list of Brook ships that I like. (Contains spoilers)

Yorki/Brook or Yorbrook:

- These two are just so doomed and I love it, a captain and his vice, two lovers ripped apart by circumstances that were way out of their control

- Yorki probably told Brook not to hold onto him after his death and that he shouldn’t close his heart towards other people

- Their so tragic and I hope we get more of them in Brooks seconds flashback

Jinbrook/Fishbones

- can’t really explain these two I just stumbled over a fic of them two or three years ago and have been obsessed with them ever since

- they’re just very wholesome to me and both of them deserve to be loved so much

- a 100% bonded over tea and the fact they were both Vice Captains turned Captains due to their captains tragic deaths

- they and Frobin are the Strawhats parents to me

- Fishbones/Frobin go on double dates when they have the chance to

- Jinbe loves the way Brook dresses himself, it’s nice to see his lover enjoy himself like that (also Brook is absolutely stunning and Jinbe is absolutely stunned)

Pedro/Brook

- I already wrote a post about why I ship these two but I wanted to include them anyway

- just love the (chronologically) old men yaoi

- Pedro also keeps the Dog minks away from Brook while on Zou

“Cat Viper” Nekomamushi/Brook

- entering more crackship territory

- I just think they would vibe together very well

- genuinely believe that they’d smoke weed together Cat Viper already likes Catnip so…, they smoke normal stuff too

- like Pedro, Cat Viper would also keep the dog minks away from Brook

- Nekomamushi is a little obsessed with Brooks Afro, it’s just so fluffy

- Brook gives him chin scratches

- on a more serious note: Minks care a lot about loyalty the whole Raizo drama proved that, so Cat Viper must have hated Brook before ever knowing him, he traveled with Crocus who had been looking for the Rumbar pirates for years at that point and probably told them about Laboon at least once, Crocus was pretty sure that they had abandoned Laboon and for Minks that’s like a really bad taboo, so it was a surprise when Brook showed up on Zou, the Rumbar pirates died they didn’t abandon Laboon and Brook only stayed alive trapped in the Florian Triangle for fifty years just to get back to his friend, that earned him a lot of respect from not only Cat Viper but also the other minks

- also Brook wrote a whole song about the guy even though it mischaracterized him

been thinking about how insanely well connected marco is in the world of one piece, and there's dozens of characters he's got history with that are only mentioned in passing, but one of my favorites is cat viper! they sailed together for four years, cat is ~5 years younger than marco and from the very beginning marco's explaining that the world has a lot more than five islands to him and dogstorm. later on once oden, dog and cat are settled in enough to party with the crew, marco's got his arms around the minks while they all dance together.

when cat pledged himself to the alliance to take down kaido, the first person he thought of to ask for help was marco and he knew exactly where to find him. when he arrived, marco spoke about whitebeard's past on sphinx. you really get the impression that cat and marco trust&rely on each other. the anime even put in cat wrapping his tail behind marco to comfort him when he shed a few tears over his pops.

it's so fun to think of these characters who were children together, causing mischief on board the moby dick and playing and fighting with each other. compared to adult marco who's responsible for so many things and holds himself distant from other characters, young marco was so exuberant and affectionate! to cat, he must've seemed like a cool and fun big brother... even the ship that cat viper sailed to sphinx on was made of pineapples.
