Spring Wedding Nadia is done!

Shoes were painted over, painted/added the gems to the jewelry, sewn the forearm wraps, painstakingly made the veil and dress. (Lots of handsewn, beaded, dyed lace)

However, I didn't want to hand dye the lace for the veil. It didn't look right to me, so I just translated the colors to Swarovski crystals.

She's a WAY more glittery and pretty in person.

It's fitted for @catacosplay to wear her for an official shoot!

Now to finish Julians spring wedding outfit next! (I just gotta figure out how to bling him out too lol)

Been working on revamping this cosplay for a few reasons: the new season, I finally caught upon the manga, and I’m trying to focus on finishing things this year. (Of course now that I have more references I have a lot of things I want to change/add. Also fingers crossed that the coat continues to be grey?? All the canon material when I was first researching showed or described it as grey but I see so much tan/brown coat content...)

Props to the two (2) people at Fanime that recognized the character! Person 1: your pineapple print heeled sandals are the best things ever Person 2: sorry I didn’t really stop when you called out! I heard a friend that wasn’t attending had stopped by and I really didn’t want to miss seeing her

If I get everything else finished up (including all 10000 buckles) I might bring him to CRX this August.

Hey it’s Shiro’s birthday-ish! Here’s a throwback to the last day of SacAnime Winter 2018 when I put the TRON back in Voltron. (The shirt glows in the dark. The fingers don’t, yet.)

First time I’ve made one of these! Trying to put it together with original flavor SAI and MS Paint after a full day of WIPMS was An Adventure. (Remind me to install SAI2 on my laptop.)

G stands for gathering. My Shiro outfits are non-canon and I’m keeping Saturday evening flexible. Kamasaki yelling is the only Kamasaki picture you need. I was tempted to bring Bertl back because season 2 but I already had a full schedule. If there’s room in my bag he might come anyway. >_>

Heeey cos-pals and other interested parties ( @seismogenic and @lyferie you both influenced me to do this!) I’m working on a Zombieman cosplay from One Punch Man and could use some input!

First of all I’ve had a really hard time finding canon shoe references. My choices here are influenced mostly by fan art (which also often doesn’t show feet or has him barefoot) and what I have available. (Even the few cosplays I’ve been able to find don’t show feet except for one!)

The pants are a pair I have for a different Bertolt outfit (with the green long-sleeved shirt? you know the one) that I thought would work.

The belt is also from the 3DMG straps. (Thanks again Berty!) I was originally thinking I could get a larger buckle to put over it but looking back at references maybe it’s okay?

I draped the fabric that I’m going to use for the coat over my shoulder just for color comparison. Of course, everything appears much more blue than it really is because Welcome To My Room. (Added a photo of both materials in outdoor sunlight for reference.)

I’m thinking of getting a tanktop made of different material just because this ribbed fabric is pretty form-fitting and I could use something that doesn’t emphasize my waist so much. (on the other hand, i have several of these and they are cheap in case i wanted to put holes in or something)

As for the boots, I can’t decide! I have 3 options (and another pair of black shoes that could work, but I assumed boots)

#1 is the boots I originally got for Tomb Raider cosplay on clearance from Hot Topic several years ago. 1T - The pants legs are going to bunch up a lot like that when tucked just because there’s a lot of material. (Looks smoother with skinny jeans, not sure if the bunching up is a problem anyway!) 1U - Untucked conceals the fact that I have freakin knee-high boots, but I’ve done that for other cosplays anyway haha.

#2 is the boots I just got for Winter Soldier cosplay and broke-in at Ozz/Knotfest where they got suuuper dusty so this cos-test was good incentive to clean them up! 2T - Yep, pants tuck into boots (I had nothing to say i am sorry) 2U - In which my hair makes a cameo in this photo shoot.

#3 is the boots I originally got for Winter Soldier, discovered they are way less boot than expected but then it turns out they were perfect for Civil War outfit Bucky. Awesome. 3U - The ankle is too small to tuck the pants into so untucked is the only option on these.

Feedback and advice appreciated! I’ll even put a little question-mark so you can answer that way.
